I recently dropped my Sony Xperia Z3 and the screen cracked so I sent it off, and after having the screen changed its colour isn't the same. The screen has a dark bluish tone to it and is a lot darker even at full brightness and all the apps' icons are darker and so are all my pictures.

After few times press power button screen working fine but when is dark and press power button then screen little change white and you must press camera button then change screen normal and you can press pin code. This is problem with new software lolipop 5.0.2Â

As you can see below, a bluish tint appears on the upper portion of the screen and extends a little sideward to the right (depending on what is being flashed on the screen). The tint goes off whenever something white is flashed. What could have caused this defect/irregularity? My phone was bought from an online reseller and it has 2 more months of service warranty remaining.

When answering to or making calls the screen will go dark when making or reciving a call and will stay that way until the other side hangs up (since I can't do anythin with the dark screen). Here are the things I've checked:

1) Diagnostics of proximity sensors are fine.
2) Screen protector onoff has no effect on the issue.

After fully charging it yesterday, the battery icon in the top right hand corner is now white… I'm pretty sure it used to be green.Â

When you check her settings in profiles it still shows "calypso"! I have battery pulled and tried to change the tone to almost every other tone on the phone with no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been loving my Z5 since I got it, my only sort-of problem has been the lockscreen. The default lockscreen puts a ridiculously dark grey filter over whatever picture I have as a lockscreen, not to mention the obnoxiously large clock nearly in the middle of the screen. I saw that the Galaxy S6 has sensible placed its clock in the top left of the screen and allows you to display whatever lockscreen in splendid, vivid colour. In the past, with my Z1, I simply installed a third-party lockscreen app to get around this but the Z5's thumb scanner isn't compatible with any of these to my knowledge (and I rather like that feature).
It seems a bizarre and backwards creative choice to have a phone screen capable of such vivid colour and resolution, only to have an embarassment of a lockscreen that is so dark and bland. Whilst not being overly tech-savvy, I was wondering if there was any way to change this - either remove the clock, or lighten the screen, or preferably both! (Will Marshmallow allow for more custom options for lockscreens, as I don't mind waiting of that's the case?).
I just traded in an iPhone 4 so I'm just learning the Motorola system. I usually set my display to go off after 1 minute to save the battery. On the iPhone the screen will stay on during a phone call. On my RAZR M the display goes dark after 1 minute and I can't figure out how to re-light it. Hitting the power button ends the call. Is there a way to keep the screen on other than setting the time delay to 10 minutes?

The first update was O.K., but during the second one maybe I did something wrong and now the phone does not start. I remove the battery, start the phone, it vibrates but never starts - for half an hour. When I connect it to PC companion, it says that I should remove the battery, start the phone and connect it again.... The screen is dark, nothing happens.

The text bubbles used to show red but then I started messing with various colour schemes and it seems to be stuck on grey no matter what I do. As well when I receive an incoming call the answer button shows as grey. Seems weird.
The red texts were also when I had my sim in slot 1. I noticed my signal strength is significantly better in slot 2 than slot 1.
I very every rarely use the flash as whenever I have tried from when i first got the phone until current updates there is always a bluish white tinge to the whole photograph..Â
Camera seems to work fine with flash off but if i try to use the fill flash or auto flash this happens.

i have xperia neo gingerbread 2.3.4 kernel .62 i noticed a dark dead line on the top of screen which appears with dark colors for images . videos , games , applications ,,,, any thing falls in this site "i mean blue , red , grey , green ,.....",,, the depth of the darkness is proportional to the depth of the viewed color "i.e it ranges from faint grey to deep black ", i guess it's an issue of LEDs or something that couldnot emit those dark colors evidenced by not appearing with white or black i uploaded a screen shot with arrows pointing to the line i mean

I did compare it with my wife Xperia Z3 and also another Xperia Z3 Dual and find out that my phone is giving bit of blue tone ( tint ) in general and brightness it bit low as well.

I did factory reset and also updated software using computer but nothing is changed.

All icons are reduced in size and i cant play media files, the bb messenger is not working.I receive calls, i receive sms alerts but cant check my inbox.
When i select ringtone/notification tone through Android system (not in Sound picker) it srart to play but when the display is turn off then my Xperia Ray is turn off(do not show any notification in display) and the tone is off. If I press any key(on/off,home) it restart and take the restarting time. My Android version is 4.0.4 and Build number is 4.1.B.0.587
