Aug 9, 2011I recieved a warranty replacement a few weeks ago and have been unable to get it to connect to my pc via the usb or the bluetooth. Support at ATT couldn't figure out the problem so they sent me a new device. The second device has the same problem and I have even installed the BB Software on a second pc and it also would not recognize the device.
If you look at the device in device manager in windows it says there is a problem with the driver installed for the device. It looks like the BB desktop software didn't install the correct driver. I have de-installed the software and re-installed it and no change.

LG G3 :: Doesn't Have Option In Network Settings For 4G
Sep 3, 2014So, I bought a G3 (a white D855 32gb) from Dubai a few weeks ago to replace my 16gb UK version.However, it doesn't have an option in network settings for 4G. My SIM is definitely 4G enabled as it worked fine on my last phone and I can get around this using the 4G switcher app, but it defaults back to GSM / WCDMA option on reboot.
The phone has just been updated to version V10i-AME-XX (an Arab version I believe) as I was hoping that would fix it, but still no option for 4G. what I can see, there should be a 4th LTE / 4G option at the top. Why I can't see it? Using a UK (o2) SIM in an international phone perhaps?

Oct 29, 2011I want to connect to my Wi-fi network, but the phone doesn't have the option to set it up. Like the button for it does not exist.If I go to the browser, it say I need to connect to a wi-fi network first.And when I say the setup wizard isn't there, I mean it is not on the phone period.I dunno if it ever had it.One day out of the blue a bunch of things went missing.Namely ever ringtone on the phone was deleted.The names are still there, the files are just missing.No idea how it happened.All I know is I didn't do anything to cause it to happen.The main thing I want to do is update the OS and get some ringtones on there.I don't have a USB cable for it.

Feb 14, 2010I had been using my N900 for 2 weeks without any issues. I never updated the software. Last night I was trying to take a picture and opened the camera lens cover. Accidentally I pressed the power button instead of the camera capture key while trying to take the picture. The display went off. I also found the phone felt warmer than usual. I took the battery out, put it in and tried again. No success. This time the phone did seem to be getting hot. I took the battery out and tried several hours later. No effect - the phone wasn't feeling warm either. I tried both the USB and wall charger - the LED was glowing green, but the phone wouldn't turn on.
Now even with the charger connected, the LED doesn't glow. Being a Sunday, I can't contact Nokia Care till tomorrow. Breaks my heart to think the hardware could get messed up so easily. We've had several Nokias in the family but not a high end one like N900. I've tried everything suggested in other forurms (including Maemo). I tried to update software with NSU. The NSU can't even detect the N900 when I connect it to the USB port. Probably suggests the battery is flat. I don't have a 5800 to try and recharge the battery externally - its shocking to know the phone can't charge if the battery is flat. If a laptop can why can't a "smart" phone? Anything else I can try?
Galaxy S6 :: Doesn't Charge And Say Dock Is Connected When Unplug Charging Cable
Dec 4, 2015As of this morning, my phone no longer charges using the supplied Samsung charger. Additionally, when I UNPLUG the cable from my computer or the wall, I receive a notification saying "The dock is connected" which is obviously odd as I have actually just disconnected the cabling. Along with this message, the docking audible is heard when plugging in the charger on either the computer or the wall.
When I plug into my computer, the phone is no longer recognized as a USB device either which makes it difficult to back anything up at this point.
I do not have the lighting bolt or any blinking LED's while the charging cable is plugged in.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot
- tried different cable on both the computer and wall
- power cycled the phone multiple times
- checked for system updates. I am up to date.
- cleaned / blown out the charging port
- cleared system cache
I have not yet done a factory reset for obvious (last resort) reasons.

Sep 30, 2015I have a SM-G900F (no carrier) European S5, bought like a couple months ago, not rooted or installed any custom rom, full stock on 5.0.
When I enable Mobile Hotspot or share the connection through USB, the other devices connect just fine, but no data is received at all.
* Tested with both a laptop and another phone
* To rule out carrier restrictions, I put the SIM in a Nexus4 and enabled Wifi tethering, then connected to it with the S5, works np, just not the other way around.
Motorola Droid Razr :: Microphone Doesn't Work If Car Dock Is Connected
Sep 3, 2012Voice input quits working when I place the phone in the car dock. Voice search (the app you get to by holding search) and Soundhound give me errors every time I try to use them with the vehicle dock connected. If I disconnect the vehicle dock, they work again, and as soon as I reconnect it they quit working.
Strangely enough, the app "Text by Voice" seems to be unaffected.

Both are connected to my apple ID account and whatnot with iCloud turned on on both, my iPhone is updated with IOS 8.1.1 and have Send as SMS on. Dec 30, 2014i have a problem with my galaxy S5 ATT. so im using Netgear wireless n-150 router WNR 1000,its updated,but the problem was before the update and after the update it is the same. i'm using yahoo,gmail and comcast emails.i was able to setup yahoo email without any problems,i can send and receive emails from my phone when connected to wifi and without wifi. but i wasnt able to add to that stock email app my gmail account and comcast while i was connected to my wifi.it gave me error that it wasnt able to connect to the server to verify information.
So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. So it should be some settings in the router probably ...
BB Bold 9700 :: Doesn't Give Option To Set Up Personal Email
Mar 9, 2010Not sure where to post this, but my wife and I both have the 9700. Yesterday hers quit working. The phone works and sms works.Anyways my issue is this, I am using it for personal use, but cannot send/receive pin messages, my bbm doesn't send/receive invites, and it won't let me setup a personal email.When I click on setup/email the only option available is to add an enterprise email and asks for the enterprise password.Any ideas as to why this is happening or ways around this so I can use my bbm and setup my personal emails to automatically send to my phone like I had before? Mine still works perfect. Any ideas on what needs to be done to get her email set back up and bbm working again ?
