Currently I'm running rooted stock Android 6.0. New Apple Music app doesn't have in-built equalizer option, but I need it for my headphones. So what are my best options?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a serious problem involving my music files which I have transferred via USB to my Nexus 5. After a system update to Android 5.1, my local music files still exist on the device but DO NOT show up in any music player. I have tried to use Google Play Music (my default music player) as well as other music players from the Play Store. ALL indicate that I have zero song files on my device which I know is definitely NOT true. I used to be able to play them and view all albums in Google Play Music but now the music files are ONLY accessible via ES File Explorer.

Nokia Music doesn't have a equalizer and volume control setting of its own.May be in some of the Game apps they have their own music control and volume control like the Snowball Assault control for Lumia 920.So why can't Nokia Music have its own Equalizer and Volume control?

Is there a way I can delete "thou" from my dictionary? I have no need for the word since I rarely quote Shakespeare or the Ten Commandments to anyone.
I swear "thou" comes up 7 out of every 10 times I try to type "you".
I was wondering if such a case exists. I'm coming from the iPhone/iOS world and I am finally jumping ship. I'm leaning toward the Nexus 5, but I'm worried about the lack of storage and battery capacity. I have my 64GB iPhone full of music (in fact I wish it was bigger) and I'd hate to sacrifice the storage.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm sure many of you have heard that when you enter an incorrect pattern/PIN/password, eventually the phone asks for Google account credentials to unlock it. My Nexus 5 on 5.1.0 does not do this. Does yours? If my lock screen is set to PIN, I can enter as many incorrect attempts as I want, it never asks and never stops me. If I have a pattern set it will let me enter 10 incorrect attempts after which it simply stops me from trying for 30s, but it never asks for Google account credentials.

I reset my phone because after 5.1.1 update my phone battery was poor so i reset my phone copied songs from my PC to nexus 5 when i open Google play music it is unable to detect those transferred songs. when i went to ES Explorer i can able to see all the songs i copied. what should i do? one more reset? is there any way to say google play music about songs presence?
P.S i already deleted cache, cleared data of that app no use
I bought a song from the play store the other day only to find that Google Play Music will no longer play any music on my Nexus 5. I do have PowerAmp set as my default player (I think) and I cleared the GPM app cache. It should work but it doesn't play anything at all, none of my other music either.

I can't remember if I ever had this functionality on my N5 (kitkat), but on my new N6 there's no such option. The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Without charger it doesnt even go on, With the charger it gets to the google logo and then reboots over and over again.
Fastboot just the same thing. Shows the fastboot GUI and reboots. Only with charger in.
Is this a hardware or software problem? I could try something on linux but if it's a hardware problem i'll just stop to try to find a solution.

however is that the phone does not appear in my device listing in the Play Store when I access it on a computer, or on Android Device Manager when I access it from a computer or from the phone itself! I can access the Play Store just fine from the phone, but cannot install apps from a computer. From the Play Store or ADM I can see my Nexus 7 and my old phone, but not the Nexus 5. The phone is set up with the same Google account as the other devices.
Recently, I was trying to replace old battery in my Nexus and something went wrong. The battery wasn't replaced but the phone didn't boot up. When unplugged, the phone didn't react at all (and I know that battery % was enough). When I plugged it in, the battery indicator showed up, disappeared after a second and it was happening in a constant loop (this appearing and disappearing). I tried to boot up the phone but only Google showed up and phone turned off and the battery indicator was again reappearing.
I managed to access fastboot but couldn't do anything more (when trying to enter recovery - same thing as with booting up). Flashed stock 6.0.1 and nothing changed. The phone was sent to LG but they said the warranty won't cover that and offered to replace motherboard for price around $230 which for me is a bit too high as for this quite old phone. They've sent me also this photo (URL...). Now I'm waiting for them to return the phone and maybe I'll try with another LG service.
Maybe symptoms are suggesting something and it can be easily fixed. Right now I can't do anything because the phone isn't back yet but when it's back before giving it to another service?
Today i started my Nexus5 and its loading one hour in the bootscreen and nothing happens. I started the Fastboot Mode but i dont know what i have to do. I dont want to lose my files but after my small research i red that i cant backup my stuff without a LOCK STATE -"unlocked". I'm right with that information? I never done anything like that before. Could i backup my data or is the only choice that i bring it to factory mode?

The problem is : Google Logo stays displayed. Bootanimation doesnt displays and so, it seems it prevents phone from displaying Setup Wizard, and Android UI. Maybe the problem is "libsecureui.so" dlopen failed.
