I have a Xperia Z2 & was wondering if there is a way to delete all the music at once from my phone. I can delete separately but it will take some time. Tried using PC companion but couldn't locate music.

But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.

I have gone through the steps here - [URL] .... however i am unable to switch the phone off completelly - only a soft restart using the power and volume up key - the phone then restarts before i can go to step 4 where i connect the usb holding the volume down button. By that time the phone has restarted.

Allowing the phone to completely run out of battery is not an option as the above requires at least 80% battery even when plugged in.

I have deleted the playlist but obviously my music is still there. I then tried to delete all my tracks by marking them all and then deleting but I got "general system error" message. However, the files are still on my Xperia Z3 SD card, and play fine,  but I can't trasfer them from there back to my PC... it is weird! I've tried trouble shooting mentioned on other parts of this forum. I didn't have the google maps "shake to send feedback" feature on, and this behavior is happening on multiple music apps (Podcast Addict, Google Music, Sony Music, Spotify, etc). Â So this seems to be a problem native to the phone, not a third party application.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I am streaming a music on my XPERIA Z2 Â phone using THROW option onto my HP laptop, immediately xperia z2 bluetooth player pops up in my laptop showing progress of music but sound does not come from the player that is frustrating because everything with this throw option is ok except this sound issue.
I thought there might be some issue with my laptop so I tried my phone THROW option with other laptop also, there also  the  same problem is occurring. Other android phones like Lenovo, MI1s, even they do not have this THROW option, this problem is not occurring when I am streaming music from these phone onto my Laptop having simply turned on bluetooth in these phones.
