For a while now whenever I open my contacts it loads extremely slowly. This means I can't actually click to make a call for around 30 seconds approaching a minute at times.
Also when people call me because of this the contact name doesn't always appear as it just shows a number as if the phone doesn't recognise it's someone from my contacts list.
It is out of character for my iPhone to load apps & type slowly. iMessage crashes often & changing from app to app crashes the iPhone regularly. Is this issue common? I've updated to new versions, and when I plug into my CPU it doesn't reccommend a restore. I'm considering a trip to the Apple Store.

Recently I have updated my Xperia Pro phone to ICS. After this update both phone dialer and contacts menu opens very slow. It takes 4 to 8 seconds depending on phone congestion to open it i.e. when you hit the phone icon on menu first appers a black screen and than only few minutes after you can call someone. It is a bit uncomfortable when you try call someone, especially if it is urgent, your phone's primary function doesn't work fast. And phone's physical qwerty keyboard changed to azerty.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy 3-month-old Flipside loads text messages and my contacts very slowly, to the point where it can take in excess of five minutes to create and send a text. I know the problem isn't too many texts in my inbox, since I delete them frequently & usually only have one or two brief conversations in them. When I start typing a contact's name in the sender box, my phone doesn't automatically search my contacts for autocomplete (or does so very slowly), even if I hit the OK button, which has occasionally sped up the process. Therefore, I have to go through my contacts manually & send the message from there. But this is still a problem, since my phone loads my contacts slowly, also. I do have a lot of contacts, probably around 800, because my phone is synced to my Facebook & Twitter accounts. However, I can't un-sync them because then I can't have Facebook or Twitter on my phone--there's no way to have site access without syncing my address book. This is getting to be very frustrating & super inconvenient.

1. It charges extremely slow. I have tried different outlets and chargers to see if it can work but it doesn't and it take more than 3 hours to charge to its full capacity. How do I fix this?
2. While the camera is great, the image quality is not the best considering that it has a high mp I would expect more because I have seen images online where the quality is beautiful but when I look at my phone it's not like that.
Furthermore the front cam always has a lot of background noise which makes the images really bad. How do I fix these 2 problems?
3. Whenever I call someone and want to put them on speaker or I want to hangup it takes forever for the screen to light up. I even press the power button to see if it works but it doesn't.
My galaxy s5 went under an automatic update last night to 4.4.4 and now my contacts are stuck. The contacts list won't load and keeps saying "updating contact list." Once in a while a message comes up that says "unfortunately, contacts has stopped." I've tried everything short of a factory restart (which I don't want to have to do) . This update is terrible, I have slow speeds, freezing screen and the contact issue.

For some reason my dialer is very slow, Loading contacts in Dialer taking forever, if it's catced it is fine sometimes and pops up real fast like it should be... but in most cases when I launch it, I have to wait more than 20 seconds for my device to load my "Speed dial" list, and when I switch to "recents" or "contacts" tab, everything is empty, after a few seconds all contacts appear at once...
Very weird, I tried to delete recently added contacts and looking for special characters that maybe affecting or something, but no luck, I also disabled Xposed and its moduls and also unrooted, but didn't worked..

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem since Lolipop upgrade, my wife is now getting this problem after moving from Z1 compact (lolipop) to Z3 compact too, also seen this issue on XDA forums so it's a definite Z3 issue.
If I click a link in an app (Twitter, Google Search etc) then a Chrome tab opens but nothing loads in it, clicking the address and pressing return does nothing, copying the address and pasting in to a new tab or incognito window works OK. killing the app in the mutitask window doesn't work, restarting the phone allows it to work for a couple of days before it starts doing this again.
A solution is needed and rebooting the phone is not a solution, it's a temporary fix. I have a few Gb free on the phone, all other apps working fine. I'm on my 3rd Z3 in a few months, it's done it on all of them, resetting the phone to factory settings does nothing after a few days.
I have problem since my Z3 updated to lollipop. When I tried to load my contact, it seems took too long for high end phone like Z3. Especially if the phone connection somehow disconnected, I found that to open again my contact need time for loading.

Have tried to 'repair my phone' using PC Suite, however my phone is not detected at all by 3 different computers, and is preventing me from repairing. Only when I open what'sapp application, the messages loads...I don't receive any messages untill I open the app itself. Have tried everything.. My phone is not on stamina /ultra stamina mode. Que background data is also turned app. Also notifications setting for what's app is on. Still can't get over this issue.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my phone to ICS 4.0.4, when i tried to play my favorite temple run (ver 1.0.6 ), I found that it is lagging on my device now. The screen is blinking frequently while the game loads. Even after that while playing it automatically pauses the game. Like if we would be having problems with the graphics driver or graphics accelerator on pc.
Because of this I couldn't manage to run more than 500 to 1000 mtrs in game. I couldn't understand whether its a problem with the game coding or my device or ICS. The tilt controls also works weird at times. The same version used to work fine when I was on Gingerbread. Also its working fine with my other device Samsung Galaxy S plus with gingerbread without any problems.
When using the phone on a strong 4G signal and fully charged battery, it takes an excessive amount of time to connect to an internet page and fully open (Dolphin Browser) . Also have issues on email downloads and opening RSS feeds.
This exceptional phone should blow away my Galaxy S3 but the Z3 is slower than any other smartphone I've used.
Within a few minutes of taking my phone off the charger in the morning its down to 96-97%. The battery seems to drain exceedingly fast down to 90% or so, but then after that the battery drain is very slow for the rest of the day.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI'm positive this has been brought up before, the camera button is only able to load up in auto superior mode which is great for basic quick camera needs but for users who want to use the camera to its full potential (20.7 MP) you need to shoot in manual mode. It seems like a simple addition to the camera which would allow everyone to use the camera app how they prefer. Is there a fix coming for this, is there a setting I'm missing? Seems silly to put a good camera in a phone and have it so inaccessible.

The charger works very well with iPhone 3GS, however the 4s models appear to drain battery even when attached, albeit more slowly, to the car charger and running an app such as GPS.

The trackpath on my Bold 9700 slowly stopped working. First when I for example wanted to scroll right it randomly went left, up, down and sometimes right. Over 2 days it got worse and now it completely stopped. Also what I typed was displayed with a delay. Looks like a virus I'm afraid. Somebody any advice what to do (please take in mind that I cannot use my my trackpath so whatever needs to be done need to be via laptop / BlackBerry Desktop software)
