LG G3 :: Phone Screen Flicker And Then Slowly Fade To Black
Jul 11, 2015Sometimes during general use my G3's screen will flicker and then slowly fade to black. To get it back I have to lock the phone and then I'm able to use the knock code to wake it up again and then screen looks fine, but will often repeat this behaviour soon afterwards. It sort of looks like the backlight is turning off, leaving only the dark parts of the image visible.
I'm 4 days out of warranty so can't send back to lg for a fix. The phone is not water damaged and is in pretty good condition other than a few bangs and scratches to the corners. The screen itself isn't cracked or anything. Iv also tried a factory reset which hasn't worked?

Mar 13, 2012My Iphone 4 keeps turning off /black screen. I plug it in and I get the rebooting screen most of the time. I have had to completely restore it two times in the last week. In between the 2 restores I got the latest hardware upgrade & the latest Itunes version on my computer. I have only had it since June of 2011 and have been told that can't be the battery (the battery is always full when this happens or at least half way full) It has been turning off for the last month off/on. I spoke to verizon and they said it could be an app causing it, although they don't know which one. They had me turn off wi-fi and turn on cellular roaming and I also went in on my own and turned off most of my location services (except find my Iphone)

Apr 6, 2012I am currently using a refurbished black iPhone 4 that was given to me as a replacement phone at an Apple Store back in July 2011. As of last week, the a yellow mark has appeared in the upper left side of screen. I went to the Genius Bar and the only option I was given was to throw down $149 on another refurbished phone that, for all I know, will mess up in another 8-9 months.

Motorola Droid :: BLACK SCREEN / Screen Not Turning On?
May 20, 2011So I recently have been having problems with my phone and its screen not turning on. Its the original droid and I guess alot have people have had this problem. But I am at a fork in the road:(this is the thrid time the screen has done this)Last night I went to check my phone and it appeared to be off, my power button does not work so I have to plug it in to turn it on. But the charger light was on so that meant the phone was already on. the buttons lit up still as well. Being this is not the first time I took the battery out for about an hour and put it back in, plugged it in, and still nothing. The M sign that comes up when you first turn it on doesen't appear and neither does anything else on the screen. But when i recieved a call I could answer the call like the screen was working but still was not on. I left the battery out all night from 8pm-6am and still nothing but i can still answer the calls. Left it out until 2 this afternoon and still nothing. I have no idea what to do.

Jul 3, 2010I recently got my Sony Xperia Z3 two weeks ago and there are several problems that I'm noticing.
1. It charges extremely slow. I have tried different outlets and chargers to see if it can work but it doesn't and it take more than 3 hours to charge to its full capacity. How do I fix this?
2. While the camera is great, the image quality is not the best considering that it has a high mp I would expect more because I have seen images online where the quality is beautiful but when I look at my phone it's not like that.
Furthermore the front cam always has a lot of background noise which makes the images really bad. How do I fix these 2 problems?
3. Whenever I call someone and want to put them on speaker or I want to hangup it takes forever for the screen to light up. I even press the power button to see if it works but it doesn't.
Nokia 6280 :: Black Lines Across Screen Rendering It Black?
Mar 4, 2010I am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?

Jun 14, 2012It is out of character for my iPhone to load apps & type slowly. iMessage crashes often & changing from app to app crashes the iPhone regularly. Is this issue common? I've updated to new versions, and when I plug into my CPU it doesn't reccommend a restore. I'm considering a trip to the Apple Store.

Jul 2, 2012new iPhone 4s (2 units bought at same time) behaves oddly when charging in car with an older Monster Cable adapter.
The charger works very well with iPhone 3GS, however the 4s models appear to drain battery even when attached, albeit more slowly, to the car charger and running an app such as GPS.
Is there a diference between car chargers' power output? Does an iPhone 4s have higher requirements?

IPhone :: 3G - Turning On With No Sound Or Screen
Jul 26, 2010I dropped my iPhone, cracked the screen and LCD, replaced both, as well as the inner plastic piece holding them together. Now, the LCD doesnt turn on, the touch screen will not respond, and the sound isn't working. The backlight wont even turn on !
It is still on, responds when I plug it into USB, it still vibrates and has its files.
And the kicker is that it was working for a few seconds, when I first put everything together, I just took it apart to get the home button to be seated properly, and bam, all of a sudden everything stops working.
Frustrating indeed ! Would anyone be able to help me out please ? I am sick that it seems I will have to buy another part, but, if it will fix it then it's worth it !
tl;dr :Replaced iPhone LCD, glass and central plastic piece. iPhone screen worked for a few minutes, then stopped. Now, screen will not work but phone will respond to USB and when I flick the switch to put it in silent.

Jun 23, 2012I got home one afternoon put my phone down went back to it and pressed the home button and it seemed that it turned itself off so I tried turning back on, didn't work so I hooked it up to my laptop tried turning it on again it came on but I got a WHITE screen. So after that I decided to leave it for a bit I went to it after it started working fine...until 4 days later. I was on instagram and all of a sudden the screen starts flickering like crazy and then it turned itself off, I did what i did last time and just left it for a bit it came back on working fine. And then about 2 days ago I was listening to music and the screen froze then started flickering (getting quite annoyed at this stage) and then turned off, this time I tried turning it back on straight away only this time it worked. And that brings us to this morning, i was on facebook and about 5 minutes later it starts flickering and freezing once again and then turned itself off. So i hooked it up to my laptop I then got it to turn on for like 6 seconds then the screen started to dim and turned off. That brings us up to now about 10 minutes ago i tried turning it on, it turned on but I got a PURPLE screen and it just stayed like that until i turned it off.

When on a phone call the phone frequently leaves the screen on, or the screen constantly flashes on or off. Consequently I am dialling numbers or trying to do a facetime call whilst on a call or turning it to speaker phone etc.Â
This is very annoying and when talking to clients a little embarrassing.Â
I am on the latest update, and someone mentioned calibrating the compass, this has no effect. Not sure if its related but safari and mail will frequently not turn when I turn the phone.Â

Apr 10, 2012I was just texting on my phone and all of a sudden the screen went blank, When I tried to turn it back on the apple logo came up for like a minute and then it turned off again, it did this one more time and then wouldn't turn on at all. It was on 80% battery, but it left it on charge over night and when I won't up still nothing?. It didn't go near any water or I didn't drop it or anything.
