I'm new to Sony phones always been a apple guy until recently I was using iPhone 6 but I liked to z3+ for the camera so now I'm loving the z3. But I've come up against a few problems and their doing my head in.
1/ why is there so much keyboard lag and
2/ when I want to send a picture via message the icons vanish?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just updated to 7.1.2 about an hour ago and when I just tried to unlock my iPhone 5s, it wouldn't respond with anything with my fingerprint. Went into the settings to see if the update had messed with settings, and discovered that the setting option was GONE. I'm going to try a restore.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot receive any MMS messages when I am roaming. I received a text with a picture attachment and I could not download the attachment because it came up with an error that said I had no data connectivity. The 3g data symbol was up and blue in color and worked because I was able to text via data roaming.I can send and receive calls and text messages while roaming, just could not get the MMS picture. I had everything checked correctly, data roam and call roam were both checked. The only way I could get it was to get to an area where I had sprint service to download. Is this a known problem? Where I work deep in the building I am usually roaming.

Nevertheless, I used the Android Sideload Wonder Machine (after many pain staking days of trying to load the JDK & SDK) I finally loaded my surveillance system software and it works. However, the surveillance system also sends emails to my Google account whenever it sense motion in the room. When I access the email, the JPG file is attached, but I can't view it inline. I can only download it to view the picture. Given the email and the JPG attachment are related to security issues, I need a fast way of viewing the JPG file without having to download or use the browser. Both are time consuming efforts

The download successful but my notification bar shows that it is still downloading. I just cant remove that thing from my notification. The language bar won't automatically disappear when scrolling through contacts after composing a message gets very annoying as the language bar prevents using the whole screen to scroll.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've have some unresolvable issue with two Sony widgets: "picture frame" and "photos and videos". First one lost 2x2 size and can be applied 3x3 only. Still there are "picture frame" two widgets are running since 2.3.4 android in 2x2 size. I can remove them but won't add anymore in needed size. Same with "photos and videos". I've got 2x2 one after upgrading to ICS. Wasn't up to rearange my desktops and faced that removing 2x2 was a big mistake. There is 3x3 only can be placed. "Clear date" didn't help. I'm pretty sure that both widgets can be placed in smaller 2x2 size. But OS doesn't offer that chois anymore.

For some reason, when I try to share an app from my Home Screen, the options menu that used to appear asking for how I would like to share is no longer there. It used to be that I could long click an app on my Home Screen and then drag it up to the top where it says "SHARE." Then an options menu would appear and I could select how I would like to share. Now, when I drag something over the "SHARE" area, a little dialog box appears saying "Creating Post." Then it says "Connection Error." I have tried factory reseting my phone and repairing my phone more times than I can count. I'm not sure where the problem is. I also notice, that some settings seem to stay with the phone even after a repair or factory reset. For example, I had to manually enter my APN information when I first got the phone. It is now already entered when I finish a repair. I don't know if this sharing problem is some deep setting that I can't reset or something else all together. It's a royal pain. I really liked and used this feature before and now it's gone!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just received a Xperia Z5 E6653 (build number : 32.0.A.6.200). IÂ tried to use a MicroSD card that I had in my previous phone, but it seems not to be recognized, whereas it is in an Xperia Z3 compact.
Going to Settings > Storage, both SD card options are greyed.
Already tried :
- Rebooting the phone
- 4 different cards, formatted as exFat or Fat32
- Restoring default settings
This is very frustrating! My phone has recently started ringing when I'm receiving incoming call but the screen remains idle and doesn't display who's calling. It also doesn't display the answer/ignore options and will continue to ring until I switch the phone off! I have also been receiving 'Unknown' calls from known numbers too.
I have looked through your forums and have read the Settings/Personalisation/Manage Notifications fix. I am in the UK however and my settings don't appear to have these options at all. I am a carer for my 2 year old daughter and depend on my phone for doctor/hospital appointments, physio, emergencies etc. I have a few months left on the contract and if I am very tempted to settle contract early as the phone is no use to me while it is doing this.
I'm not able to find 'White Balance' and 'Metering' options in my neo V camera settings (Still) even though being in main camera with 'Normal' mode. From the left draw in the vertical separator I'm opening the camera settings tray. Everything except 'White Balance' and 'Metering' options are appearing there.
