I've just received a Xperia Z5 E6653 (build number : 32.0.A.6.200). I tried to use a MicroSD card that I had in my previous phone, but it seems not to be recognized, whereas it is in an Xperia Z3 compact.
Going to Settings > Storage, both SD card options are greyed.
Already tried :
- Rebooting the phone
- 4 different cards, formatted as exFat or Fat32
- Restoring default settings
Just upgraded to the 4S. I set it up by "restoring" to the last backup on the Cloud, but for some reason, in the "Settings" panel, the iCloud option is grayed out. This is also the case for all of my individual email addresses under "Mail, Contacts,..." I called support and they just made me reset my password - twice - which hasn't done anything but annoy me.

I have a problem with my boss' Lumia 1520. Would love to import photos to 1520 and since every photos are categorized in folders, I just copied all the folders to Pictures folder in SD Card.
What happens next is that these photos don't show up in Photos App. I checked the Storage Sense, it said that there is no photos (0KB), and the size of all the folders I have copied before are shown in Other Storage (~4GBs)
What I have tried:
- Format the SD Card using Storage Sense, then put the SD Card inside the phone and connect it to PC, then moved the photos to the phone using USB Connection. Failed.
- Put the SD Card into my Transcend Card Reader, move the photos into the SD Card then put it again into the phone. Failed.
- Renaming the folders in Files App in Lumia, then check the Photos App whether it has shown up in the album section. Failed.
- Renaming the folders in Windows 7, then check the Photos App whether it has shown up in the album section. Failed.
- Fully format the SD Card using Windows 7, and move the photos to the SD Card and put it again into the phone. In progress: formatting the SD Card.
My Xperia Z3 Dual lollipop 5.0.2, doesn't allow me to turn on unknown sources in another user (not guest! A user that I defined). Unknown sources in settings is off (grey color not black).

According to SE this pop-up should give the option to change settings. All I have is the option to click "OK". I m unable to download the backup and restore feature. It's the original SD card that came with the phone and I've also bought and tried a brand new Sandisk SD card, but still no look. Message is ''Removed SD card' even when card is mounted. Upon receiving my unlocked Play, I noticed that the SD card isn't mounted. I tried numerous times resetting the phone and trying to see what was wrong but I can't seem to fix it. My SD card works when I insert it into my PC, and it still has all the files. I even tried other SD cards and it still couldn't mount.

Also if i try to connect my phone to pc vis usb cable it says 'please insert memory card and reinsert usb' tried this maybe 10 times nothing. So my question is how the **** do i get the phone to recognise that there is a memory card in it? I don't need the SD card for contacts etc as they've all been synced just really want my photos/music back & be able to use my camera again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedOk, so I still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or"no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!!!
