Xperia Z2 :: Why Can't Turn HDR On In Camera Settings
May 11, 2015
I want to turn the HDR to on in the camera , but I couldn't . I tapped on the HDR to turn it on but it doesn't. Why?
I'm using the manual settings on my camera.
The settings are : Flash off - Resolution 15.5MP(16:9) - Self-timer off - Smile Shutter off - Focus mode Touch focus - HDR is off and won't turn on - ISO Auto - Metering Center - Image stabilizer off - Preview 3 seconds
Quick launch Launch only - Geotagging off - Touch capture off - Use Volume key as Zoom - Sound on - Data storage SD card - Touch Block deactivated. These are my manual settings for the camera .
A friend is having troubles with his Z3 : He used to take pictures with the quick camera launch button, but since a recent camera or system update, when he use this button, the camera is set to automatic mode instead of manual, with poor resolution and quality settings. If he launches the camera with the standard button from the phone menu, everything is fine and perfectly set up.
When the camera is used from the quick button and set back to the correct quality settings and manual mode, after closing it, it goes back to auto mode with bad settings. Same thing when he slides the camera icon from the locked screen. The only way to get the proper settings when launching the camera is to use the icon from the phone's menu.
He tried a lot of things, from uninstalling the camera updates to searching everywhere on the internet, there is no information or messages about this problem.
I have a Sprint Galaxy s6. I want to turn off the shutter sound but there is no option in the camera settings to turn it off. As soon as my kids hear that sound they immediately stop whatever they are doing.
I've a Xperia Z5 with FW final .200 (last one) and I've encountered with a problem with Camera
I've setted fingerprints as lock, with a pin (clearly, for backup).
And it happens that when I need to take a photo rapidly, starting by a black screen (in standby so), through dedicated camera button, I can't modify some settings into Camera, just like modality or resolution or whatever, I can only modifiy Flash or Noflash et similia
I don't understand this choice and I don't respect It too
It's simply crazy to let open camera and we can't modify some settings, just because phone's locked ...
It's better to let modify for taking photos as simplier as possibile, because we can't firstly unlock our phone and then press on our camera button
And I don't think It's for security because I don't think that a thief who moves some settings in Camera can do more damns that He could do
i was just wondering if i can change the settings for my camera such as, the photo's size or can it zoom while taking a picture? i'm quite confuse on how to use the camera. i don't know where is the settings for camera.
Every time I choose a scene mode and go back to manual mode the settings gets reset. (i.e. focus mode, ISO, metering mode.) It is annoying to set it everytime. Why can't the app remember my settings.
I have now paid a premium price for the Xperia Z5 Premium, only to discover that this "Premium" phone does not allow manual exposure settings. Not even after upgrading to the new hyped up camera app V2.
Given the arrogance you (Sony Mobile) are showing towards your customers I am gonna assume you are still not going to listen to your users, and you are not going to reply to this thread, you may even delete it to avoid unnecessary attention to the subject.
After the V2 upgrade taking so long, and still no manual exposure, I find it highly unlikely we will ever get manual exposure settings on the Sony Xperia series. I will sell my Xperia Z5 premium and get myself an LG G4.
I'm not able to find 'White Balance' and 'Metering' options in my neo V camera settings (Still) even though being in main camera with 'Normal' mode. From the left draw in the vertical separator I'm opening the camera settings tray. Everything except 'White Balance' and 'Metering' options are appearing there.
I don't know how to turn HDR on camera. Every time I switch off my phone for a week or something (cause I use different phone) and then switch it on, a lot of pics are gone. Although, I backup the phone before I switch it off every time!
How can I turn off the sound which is made while the camera is taking a photo? It doesn't help when I mute the mobile telephone. My mobile telephone is SonyEricsson Xperia Neo (Android 4.0.4).
I have an Xperia Active ST17i, android versions 4.0.4, and ever since I bought it I'm trying to find a way to turn off the sound but now luck. I have no option in my camera application. I read on different forums that I need to modify my build.prop file. Can't do that since I can't root my phone. I found the file, I found the line that I need to modify, but can't touch it ofc. I tried factory reset, in the hopes that it would put the camera sound from 1 to 0, but still no luck. I tried to put the phone on silet. Every application is silent, expet for the freakin` camera!!
So how the heck do I turn off that freakin` sound?
I've a problem in z2 whenever i use time shift video mode the camera turn much darker than the normal video mode in same light condition .. I tried alot of times but the results are the same....
my iphone4 camera screen is completely black when i turn the camera on. it just started today. up until last night it was working fine. if i switch the camera to reverse side towards me, it works fine as well. only when it's towards the object, the screen is totally black. what should i do?
It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.
I'm curious to how people are tweaking their M9 camera settings and for what circumstances.
What changes in sharpness, EV, iso etc are you using and for what type of picture, ie dark indoor shots, bright daylight etc, so I can save some presets.
When I look a user manuals or advice columns for my S6 I see that I am missing many camera function/settings. I have only a flash, mode, alternate front or back, camera, video buttons. Is this something I can change?
I just got my new galaxy s6 today and so far everything is good but I can't however access camera settings when I go into camera and click settings it crashes and just goes back to where I would take a picture I've already tried restarting the phone and even clearing cache and my phone is up to date.
So for the Google camera apps when you taking a picture, do you usually leave a flash on automatic setting or on always setting? I have known as in them settings or sometimes even at night time before you tap the screen wants to manually focus the flash doesn't go off
Is there any way we can save our settings on the camera app once we close it? It keeps coming back to default settings once i quit the app and re-launch it. I need to re-adjust again especially the mode, ISO, metering mode. etc,
If not, any alternative app which can fiddle with ISO settings?
All manuals refer to the cogwheel on the main camera screen for all the settings and indeed on all sites I see such a cogwheel on the pics..However, I don't have one on my brand new S5....
I had got a black berry curve8900 from UK I unlocked the phone at India know iam working it uae Iam facing some problem with the net work Whenever iam trying to connect to net my money is cut from my balance even if iam trying with Wi-Fi I try to talk to the service provider (DU) they are saying that I need to off the GPRS setting
I have been using Tasker for quite some time to handle tweaking audio settings for sleep, work, etc. I have it set to mute all notifications except phone calls and alarms at night. I put my phone on the headboard at night so I have it handy in case of that dreaded late night phone call. However, it still vibrates. When I get a text message or email, it vibrates enough to wake me if I am sleeping light (early in the night, or almost time to get up). It's rather annoying.
I have messed around with Tasker settings, and Vibrate On Notify is not an option for this device for some reason. I have even downloaded a few "turn vibration off" apps, and none of them seem to do what they are supposed to do either.Even if I have to manually adjust some settings before bedtime, I'm ok with that.
