IPhone :: 4 Is Not Responding Screen Is Just Showing Usb Lead And Itunes Symbol
Jun 4, 2012my iphone 4 is not responding the screen is just showing a usb lead and the itunes symbol. when i plug it into my desktop mac and try to sync it to itunes ,itunes is telling me the phone is in a restore mode. How do i get it to respond without restoring the phone to new ? there is no option to restore with backup as i have not backed up any of the data on the phone

Jun 23, 2012This has been caused by trying to update iTunes. Tried to back up the iPhone but it has stopped and the only thing I have now is a screen showing a pic of the connection lead pointing to the iTunes icon. If I restore factory settings all my info will be lost!

Lumia 1520 :: Cannot Open High Resolution Photos After Deleting Low Resolution Versions
Jul 29, 2014Did I miss the memo that says deleting lo-res photos will somehow not allow one to open the hi-res versions? I have the 1520 connected to my Windows 7 PC (via USB) and wanted to keep the hi-res versions only, so I deleted the lo-res ones. The hi-res files still appear as physical files in file explorer with multiple megabytes but no preview/ thumbnail (same as before). I can't transfer them to an empty folder on my Desktop or to Imgur, nothing happens, not even an explanation. I checked my recycle bin and the lo-res files are no where to be found.

Jun 24, 2010I noticed that sometimes when an app is loading after selecting it from the app store, the icon is very high res when it has the loading bar.After the app loads and installs,the icon makes a noticable shift to a low res version.It is definitely not because the icon is grayed out, you can visibly see the switch from high res to low res.Anyone know how to fix this?No idea why an icon would show in high res then switch for no reason.

Feb 8, 2010I've been able to set a streaming solution through VLC to my nokia device and can stream netTV, movies, DVD discs, webcam from my personal PC. Through the tests, i've found that the maximum resolution is width=352, height=288 which is 11:9 aspect ratio. Of course i can set 16:9 ratio which again has the limitation of the width=352. Every pixel above 352 makes the nokia response in "Unable to play video clip".So obviously there is some limitation in the resolutions through live streams. When i play a video from the Memory Card, 640*360 is supported without a problem.The problem is, that i have access to several streams , which are live TVs and i can watch only those, that are below 352 pixels wide. Those that are in resolution 448*336 don't play, although the format and the codecs of the stream are the same as with the 352*288.So, is there a way , that i can remove these limitations, or at least allow the Real Player to play streaming links with higher than 352 pxls width?

Well, instead of adjusting the overlay slider, i changed the resolution of the HDMI going out of my phone to 1920 x 1080.... Well my TV does not support that resolution. Now when I connect it to the television via HDMI cable, TV says no input, droid switches to a mode that turns the screen black and creates an image on screen that looks like the mouse and two buttons on a laptop. The phone assumes that the image is being displayed via HDMI so it does not show it on the screen. The problem is i changed my outgoing video resolution to some wrong setting. The option to change this is only available when your phone is connected to another vidoe source and you can see it on the display of that other device. how i can adjust it?

Feb 22, 2011Last week when he got the phone I added a Hotmail account and 3 of his business POP3 accounts on to the phone and they seemed to work fine. Each account appeared as icons on the home screen and when I sent test messages to each they were successfuly received with the little star signalling a new email on the respective icon.Then, when tapping each account's icon I'd be taken to the inbox for that account. Went to his place this evening and it's gone a bit weird! When clicking on any of the email account icons I get taken to the 'messages' folder which only contains text messages. There's no way of accessing the emails in any of his 4 email accounts.When a new email comes in now there is a notification at the top of the screen near the time and that's the only way to view an email. No way of accessing all existing emails.
