Jul 29, 2015I wanted to know if we could change the screen resolution of the S6 to turn it FULL HD.
I want to do this because I want to see if changing resolution I would get better battery life.

Apr 20, 2015I was recently noticing some differences in the pictures saved in the stock S6 Gallery app and those backed up in the Google Photos app. Even though I have the Photos app set to upload "full size"... there is a noticeable difference when it comes to clarity and ability to zoom. BB Software :: Sending Full Resolution Images Through Bbm
Aug 19, 2010I recently installed latest os 6 for my Bold 9780. 6.0.0.448. I am running BBM 5.0.1.45
When I send an image it does not give me the option of sending a full res image. I notice it is sent at 29kb file size. A recent recipient requested a higher res image. First, how can I accomodate that request through BBM.
Secondly, is there a way to change the default size for sending images through bbm? I remember I used to be able to pick the resolution as I do now when sending email attachments.

May 27, 2015I miss the full screen album art on the lock screen from my lg G3 while playing any type of media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) ... Even worked while I used xbmc (now kodi)... I believe even Samsung had this as well. While some didn't like it, I loved it!

Oct 4, 2012I cannot understand why a phones camera software does not allow the user to lower the resolution below the max resolution.The Lumia 710 only allows 5MP res. in 4:3 format. WHY?? And I cannot find an app that easily allows the res. to be lower than 5MP.Is there anything in the works, ie. camera software update that will allow for lower resolution pics? I use this feature for work and 1.3MP was sufficient for my needs, and when archiving my photos didn't take up 1+MB per pic on my hard drive.I may have to go back to my C7 belle.

Sep 7, 2015When I'm on YouTube watching fullscreen, or a local video stored in memory, watching photos, or even playing a game. Notifications ALWAYS appear in the upper side. You can see there text, sound, plus it vibrates. I think there is something in my phone (I dont know if it is specific-carrier Android related, Claro Perú) but it doesnt really go fullscreen EVER, so it makes notificacionts appear everywhere all the time. Disabling notifications is not a solution as I need them. Do not disturb mode also wont hide the notification from appear, it just stops de sound and the vibration.

Running the stock ROM/kernel, even on full britghtness, the screen can go brighter unless the light sensor detects a high ambient light. I am wondering if its possible to change this.
Currently means PWM is still active on the screen even on full brightness. Same with the note 4 but this was not the case with previous samsung devices. PWM on full brightness is a deal breaker for me so I need to know now or this phone is being sold.

May 6, 2015Open facebook via the fb-app. Go, for instance, to an unilad article with a videoclip. Click on the link and a new page opens with a video from youtube. Click the play button and the video starts and no problem. Click the full screen icon and turn the phone to the side and the video maximizes and fills the screen and stops almost immediately. Reset and clear cache for the apps involved and the video (and all other videos for that matter) runs for a minute or so then the phone hangs fully. Have to remove battery as phone is unresponsive. How to look for the reason for this? Videos do not freeze if not maximized. Videos directly on youtube/vimeo does not freeze.
Phone Samsung S5, latest update, running videos on high capacity wi-fi only.
