Xperia Z3 :: How To Copy Text From Email And Paste It On Other App
Oct 17, 2014I got email and I need to copy some text from it and paste it on the other app, but this thing just can´t do it no matter what I try.I pressed long over the text I wish to copy. Then it turns dark gray and 2 blackie tabs appers on both side of the text. That´s all I could do. If I hit the highlighted text once again in order to get copy option on it disappears! If I hit those blackie tabs nothing happens.... If I pressed check sign (in Upper Left corner) then highlight would be gone. I don´t get this - iPhone was so easy to use compared to this one..

The embedded email app are deleting mails on my mail server, when I delete them in my phone. I am used to have a copy left on the mail server to be fetched when coming back to the office. I do not find any options in my x8 so I have a copy left on my server.

Apr 19, 2012I have 3 email accounts that I synchronise with the email app. I use this app to have all my accounts in the same place, including my gmail account. The issue is that when I send an email, a copy of it is stored in the imap sent email folder of the account. Gmail do not recommend this practice because it saves all sent email by itself, and there for, if the client also saves a copy of the email, there is two copies stored. That's my problem. When using email app, I find in my email account twice the mail sent in the conversation. (How) can I configure the email app not to store the sent messages in the imap server ? I am running ICS official realease from sony (PC Companion) since yesterday.

Aug 19, 2011As far as i am aware, Torch works brilliantly! However, I've noticed that the text of emails from certain of my friends is missing. So the header is fine, but most of the body of the text does not display - curiouslywords show up!
I've compared the emails with the original on my PC, and I can't see any reasno why the text should be missing entirely, or the odd word show up!

You select the notification sound in the settings app and that changes the email alert. You then go into the text app and from the settings there you can change the text alert to something else. Simple, except the text sound will not change.

Jun 12, 2012Some of my friends said they tried to text me but I never recieved their messages. I looked under my settings in my phone and saw that they were being sent to my email. I tried setting it back to my number but it said error and there is no way for me to correct it that I know of.

Dec 12, 2011Last week I noticed that all my emails before Nov 28th have disappeared? In addition all the text messages before that date appear with only the persons number and a green "draft" message icon. If I access it the original text is not there it is simply blank as if it were a draft message waiting to be sent.
I have a 9700 (v6.0.0546, Platform 6.6.0.207). My carrier is Vodafone. Mail settings have been checked and messages are set to store "forever".

I do not have a data plan.I have a friend that sends me emails from his PC to my CellNumber@txt.att.net and I received them as TEXT MESSAGES. I then reply to that same TEXT MESSAGE and he receives it in his email on his PC.But when I try to send (not just reply) a new TEXT MESSAGE to his EMAIL address, it fails. I get a little red clock for a while, then nothing.I have spoke to AT&T and they say it should work.My friend is also on AT&T, and he too does not have a data plan, and he sends TEXTS to his EMAIL address all the time without challenge. He does not have a Blackberry.

Jul 7, 2014Just picked up the M8 and I'm super pleased with just about everything on the phone with the exception of a few things. One of the few things that bugs me about this phone is that I'm constantly missing texts, and e-mail notifications if the phone is in my pocket.
On my old phones, I'd rely on vibration to let me know when I receive incoming texts, or notifications, and on the M8 it seems theres only a single option to enable vibration and not anywhere to intensify, or even change the vibration patterns when receiving texts or other notifications.
Is there anything built into the phone that can intensify the vibration or possibly make it vibrate for a longer duration? I'd hate to download a third party app just to do this, but if thats my only option then I'll be happy to do so.

May 17, 2015Just upgraded to two Galaxy S6 on Sprint for some reason my wife device and mine when we get text message they got to are default message app as well as one of our Email accounts. Is there a way to get them to Stop going to to Email and just go to the default text app that comes with the S6. Never had this issue before don't know if there a setting or what.
