I cannot see any text in e-mails on i-phone 4. Headers display but when I open the e-mail nothing shows. This just started happening. Do not recall making any settings changes. Using Gmail as I have for a long time.

As far as i am aware, Torch works brilliantly! However, I've noticed that the text of emails from certain of my friends is missing. So the header is fine, but most of the body of the text does not display - curiouslywords show up!
I've compared the emails with the original on my PC, and I can't see any reasno why the text should be missing entirely, or the odd word show up!
I have about 5 email addresses setup on my iPhone. However, I only want the badge on the iPhone home screen to display the unread count for my primary email address (instead of adding up all the unread emails in all of my inboxes).

I cannot view my text messages in the regular view, ie I have to turn my phone sideways to view the messages and to text. Software is up to date, this just came on randomly in the last week. Normally you can 'shake' the phone and the view angle changes. Won't work for texting, works for emails.....

When I receive a text message, the first part of the message is displayed on the lock screen. How do I change this so it just says "text message" and does not display the actual message?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone display is showing all my apps and text about 4x bigger than normal. It's a ***** to try to move around the pane and especially to do my pin if I turn it on. Tapping three fingers on the screen doesn't change the zoom.  I managed to get into Settings to check if the display was zoomed and it was set on standard. Resetting the phone doesn't work either. This has happened on my older 5s when my hand has been on an open display when the phone was in my pocket.  I think this last time my hand was on the screen for more than 10 seconds.

My email messages have stopped displaying in both my mail accounts. I can see a preview but when I enter the individual mail the screen is blank. Not even the preview text is displayed. I have not changed any settings.

Cannot for some reason see descriptive/text info on the main display when I have new SMS. I do see the display indicators for this in the top right of the phone but for some reason the text detail when a new text event happens seems to have disappeared. but i don't have this problem with missed call or new e-mail. i didn't have this kind of problem till today and i also didn't change theme or something else...i also tried a soft reset and nothing changed.

What I want it to do is show the SMS Inbox (which I can navigate to via the folder options, but I can't find a way to set it as a default). View 6 Replies View RelatedWithin the past 6 days, I've purchased 2 brand new Nokia E71 phones from 2 different Walmart stores, 30 mins of each other. These are phones for the Straight Talk prepaid service. I have not yet activated the phones on ST, as my goal is to first test the basic functionality to determine if it's worth the $200 and will satisfy my needs.
What's happening on both phones, in the same exact manner and location on the phone, is that the menu title name for some menus have fading text. It appears as though there's a display issue. I've attached some screenshots to make it easy to see what I'm experiencing.
However, when I've tested playing the included videos in the phone at full screen, it appears to play the videos through the menu title name area with no fading. The same goes for looking at images - I do not see any fading with the included images in that area.
I have done a Soft Reset on both phones using the *# option and from the "Factory Reset" option in the menu. This has not resolved it on either phone. I have also changed themes, changed menu colors, changed the font size, none of which has resolved this.
Thus far, I've returned one phone to Walmart and ready to return the next one now due to this issue. I'm willing to try a 3rd but that's where my limit is. I really like this phone and want it, but if this issue is indicative of a fully dead or fading display after a short period of use, I will not make the investment.
Which regions of Nokia 808 pureview support display of traditional Chinese characters? Can the singapore model display that? Input support would be nice but not essential.

I was texting with someone earlier today, I sent a text at 4:31 pm and they immediately responded but their text message was time stamped at 11:32 am.For some reason all of the texts I receive are time stamped as 5 hours earlier.The people I'm texting with are located in my same timezone, and the timezone is correct in the settings of my phone. It's set to automatic but I switched to manual and checked to see that the correct timezone was selected.
