My email messages have stopped displaying in both my mail accounts. I can see a preview but when I enter the individual mail the screen is blank. Not even the preview text is displayed. I have not changed any settings.

I cannot view my text messages in the regular view, ie I have to turn my phone sideways to view the messages and to text. Software is up to date, this just came on randomly in the last week. Normally you can 'shake' the phone and the view angle changes. Won't work for texting, works for emails.....

I just got a BlackBerry 9780, and I had been using the BBM for only a couple days and it seemed fine. All of a sudden the messages I was sending no longer had a D above the tick mark, and I haven't been able to get one to go through, nor has anyone responded to my messages.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.
The date displayed in text messages is showing as Mon 29 May 2017 and incoming messages shown as all received at 5.55am yet the date and time on my phone is correct and showing todays date?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have several text messages from several different people.The problem is the display only shows 1 text message string from that 1 person at a time.All the other text message strings are hidden from me .. until I delete THAT string.Oddly, sometimes I can see 2 text message strings from 2 different people .. but I cannot see all the others until these are removed.I can't even scroll down to see the other text message strings.

So I have all my messages grouped together (sms and email accounts), and I am using BIS through ATT. I am on software version 5.0.0.405 (Platform 5.1.0.112). The blackberry doesnt seem to display message correctly. If I try and delete a message it deletes the one before it. SMS's dont always delete. Sometimes there is just a blank space but if i click on it, its actually a message.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was texting with someone earlier today, I sent a text at 4:31 pm and they immediately responded but their text message was time stamped at 11:32 am.For some reason all of the texts I receive are time stamped as 5 hours earlier.The people I'm texting with are located in my same timezone, and the timezone is correct in the settings of my phone. It's set to automatic but I switched to manual and checked to see that the correct timezone was selected.

So I'm guessing that it is a problem with the email app on the phone and not my provider. I tried to increase the mail size limit, but that didn't work. I don't see any settings for enabling HTML.

Doesn't seem to relate to network coverage as it has happened when I have had a full signal. It's an intermittent fault but an irritating one. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to stop it happening please ?
I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons:
Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?

I currently have an HTC Incredible, but thinking about making the switch because the battery and i'm missing the physical QWERTY.I have never had a blackberry before, I was wondering how the e-mail displays? On my HTC it displays just like if I were looking on the web, images and everything...is blackberry the same?Time sensitive because my 30 days is up tomorrow! I would like to return my phone today to just be sure while I wait for the bold.
View 14 Replies View RelatedAs far as i am aware, Torch works brilliantly! However, I've noticed that the text of emails from certain of my friends is missing. So the header is fine, but most of the body of the text does not display - curiouslywords show up!
I've compared the emails with the original on my PC, and I can't see any reasno why the text should be missing entirely, or the odd word show up!
