N97 on V20.Some incoming text messages display a blue question mark when viewing my inbox rather than the text message icon and cannot be opened or read using voice reader.
Doesn't seem to relate to network coverage as it has happened when I have had a full signal. It's an intermittent fault but an irritating one. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to stop it happening please ?

However, I find that the Desire organizes text messages in a weird way where the recipient and sender messages don't follow one after another rather it puts all the recipient responses on the top half of the screen and the sender at the bottom. Does anyone know how to change this?

At the moment it gets up to about 2000 texts and then I have to delete them either one by one or the entire inbox at once. I have the sent messages set to hold only 100 texts but cannot work out how to do this with my inbox.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to press the blackberry button (think thats what its called) when in my inbox and get various options including mark as unread (as well as forward, reply to all, etc). I now seem to be able to only do from this from in the email itself as if I am in my in box and press the button I need to hold it down and then I get a shortcut menu appearing. Have I accidently created this or has blackberry changed this as I recently upgraded one of their apps (though thought it was messenger)?

Blue tint on screen when viewing from an angle. I know that amoled has this inheritance problem but mine seems to be a bit extreme on an angle, I can really see the blue.

The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have several text messages from several different people.The problem is the display only shows 1 text message string from that 1 person at a time.All the other text message strings are hidden from me .. until I delete THAT string.Oddly, sometimes I can see 2 text message strings from 2 different people .. but I cannot see all the others until these are removed.I can't even scroll down to see the other text message strings.

I cannot view my text messages in the regular view, ie I have to turn my phone sideways to view the messages and to text. Software is up to date, this just came on randomly in the last week. Normally you can 'shake' the phone and the view angle changes. Won't work for texting, works for emails.....

I was texting with someone earlier today, I sent a text at 4:31 pm and they immediately responded but their text message was time stamped at 11:32 am.For some reason all of the texts I receive are time stamped as 5 hours earlier.The people I'm texting with are located in my same timezone, and the timezone is correct in the settings of my phone. It's set to automatic but I switched to manual and checked to see that the correct timezone was selected.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI seem to have a problem, with the sms messages sent by my carrier, i am not able to see them (for example when i check my cost control), they do not appear in the inbox. But every time i request something from my carrier, and should receive a message, a blue icon on the right top side of the screen appears, right next to the profile name. Now i now this has something to do with the message, the thing is that i don't know how to read that. i've tried searching in the SIM message, but nothing, i've tried reading the manual again, but still no answer.
