It's a new phone (had it less than two weeks), browser started out working fine, then two days ago it started to refuse to display the text for the hyperlinks in web pages. Same problem with certain online apps, like ESPN's, so I'm pretty sure it's a Blackberry software problem. OS is v6.0.0.526, AT&T is the provider.
View 4 RepliesEvery few days the browser will stop working properly. It only displays the page partially.....some words are just simply gone and some hyperlinks are just displayed as a line. It happens on multiple websites. I have been to the ATT store several times and they have checked all of the settings and reset the device. All cache and cookies have been cleared. I have also spoken with support on the phone and they had me delete some service books and they resent them. The only way I can correct the issue is to pull the battery, but it just happens a few days later.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs far as i am aware, Torch works brilliantly! However, I've noticed that the text of emails from certain of my friends is missing. So the header is fine, but most of the body of the text does not display - curiouslywords show up!
I've compared the emails with the original on my PC, and I can't see any reasno why the text should be missing entirely, or the odd word show up!

When I had my 8310 curve there were a crapload of options in the brower settings and one of them was to select which type of brower it viewed the webpage as, (blackberry, IE, etc.)
anyways, I'd like to know if this option still exists, because I'm trying to access a mobile website but its coming up as the full website. When I tried putting an m. in front of the website it didnt work so I'm not sure how to access it.
I have Outlook 2007 and my company has a mobile app that I would like my customers to use on their iPhones. I have a graphic in my email signature in Outlook with a hyperlink to my mobile app site, but the iPhone will not activate the hyperlink. I get a pop up that asks if I want to save Image or Copy.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just activated my Motorola Triumph yesterday, and everything's been working wonderfully...except for the graphics/pictures on the internet browser. It will not display pictures or graphics, even when it shows that the page has "fully loaded." Graphics/pics work just fine through the Facebook app and other apps, just not the browser. I've only tried simple solutions, like restarting it, but I haven't been able to make it work.

But when i use the browser and my network settings to connect, it is fine but only for a few days or a week. Now and again i get a problem where the browser wont display anyweb pages! All the settings are in correctly, and nothing gets adjusted, i even get the Hor 3G symbol to show me that i am actually infact connected to the internet, but a blank page just keeps coming up saying Try refreshing the browser or try again later.. This has happened to me twice now, and the only way of fixing theproblem is by reseting factory settings which is very annoying! ive tried deleting browsing history,and tried other websites to access too but nothing seems to work. Cannot for some reason see descriptive/text info on the main display when I have new SMS. I do see the display indicators for this in the top right of the phone but for some reason the text detail when a new text event happens seems to have disappeared. but i don't have this problem with missed call or new e-mail. i didn't have this kind of problem till today and i also didn't change theme or something else...i also tried a soft reset and nothing changed.

It's a bit annoying to have to drag the screen back and forth when reading.I've had this 9900 for just about two weeks and I'm somewhat disappointed. This comes from a guy who, after using a BlackBerry device for four years, switched to Android last year, and could only dream of another BlackBerry.This thing is glitchy (if I brush the volume/mute buttons even lightly, it fires off a bunch of letters, it's crashed already a couple of times) and ridiculously slow when compared to my old Android device. If I had actually paid the $599 recommended retail device, I would have immediately demanded my money back and just learned to live with the crappy Android keyboard.Plus, T-Mobile has yet to provide update 7.1, allowing me to use the wi-fi hotspot capabilities, which I used REGULARLY on my Android for over a year..No WONDER RIM is in so much trouble.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWithin the past 6 days, I've purchased 2 brand new Nokia E71 phones from 2 different Walmart stores, 30 mins of each other. These are phones for the Straight Talk prepaid service. I have not yet activated the phones on ST, as my goal is to first test the basic functionality to determine if it's worth the $200 and will satisfy my needs.
What's happening on both phones, in the same exact manner and location on the phone, is that the menu title name for some menus have fading text. It appears as though there's a display issue. I've attached some screenshots to make it easy to see what I'm experiencing.
However, when I've tested playing the included videos in the phone at full screen, it appears to play the videos through the menu title name area with no fading. The same goes for looking at images - I do not see any fading with the included images in that area.
I have done a Soft Reset on both phones using the *# option and from the "Factory Reset" option in the menu. This has not resolved it on either phone. I have also changed themes, changed menu colors, changed the font size, none of which has resolved this.
Thus far, I've returned one phone to Walmart and ready to return the next one now due to this issue. I'm willing to try a 3rd but that's where my limit is. I really like this phone and want it, but if this issue is indicative of a fully dead or fading display after a short period of use, I will not make the investment.
Which regions of Nokia 808 pureview support display of traditional Chinese characters? Can the singapore model display that? Input support would be nice but not essential.

I cannot view my text messages in the regular view, ie I have to turn my phone sideways to view the messages and to text. Software is up to date, this just came on randomly in the last week. Normally you can 'shake' the phone and the view angle changes. Won't work for texting, works for emails.....
