I want to know if it is possible to install applications in the X10 downloaded from the internet with a PC. I do not have internet connection from my mobile and I would like to install some applications on it, but the only way explained in the manual is using the market and I can not use it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I was trying to install a ROM (Froyo 2.2 (first MiniCM6 then XperiGinger V4)) (from 2.1) to my Xperia today and after it installed -"correctly"-, everytime I start the phone it doesnt go more than the "Sony Ericsson" logo. It just stays at the frozen image. I fixed it once with PC Companion, executing the repair tool but then the error came back and now even tho Im trying to repair it again, PC Companion (and SEUS) show a sign that "my device is fully actualized and there's no new software to upgrade to", meaning I cant fix it anymore (like if it could only be fixed once).

After which i see a 178 MB PC Companion file in my Memory card which is blocking my memory space and has reduced to zero memory available.Also i cant charge my phone through USB cable on my office desktop and nor can i transfer data or file thorugh USB conection.Also can i delete the 178 MB file hoping that the update on my phone wont be deleted?

Followed the instalation to the letter, backed up my files using the new backup n restore etc, updated it n then began the restore, now this is the frustration part. i did everything SE said to do even did 2 backups but when i try to restore it takes ages n then says could not complete. not only have i lost all contacts but more frustrating i have lost all my apps, both paid and free. my google account seems to be wrong although i cant realy remember it, tryed to get the user name/password sent to my hotmail but seems to of created a new account n i dont have these "links to re-downloads" ur android apps.

I haven't had the need to install any new apps for a while, but when I recently tried installing one, it failed. I've updated all software and there's enough space on the phone for the application(s) I wanted to install, yet it doesn't work.When I've purchased an application, it goes to install it, only to stop installing it after about 3-5 seconds without giving any notice or a reason why. I have configured the default E-mail client with POP3 configuration. Everyday older mails are getting deleted from INBOX automatically. Strange thing is that older mails are getting deleted from INBOX only (not from TRASH or SEND box). With 2.3.3 I was not getting this issue. I was able to view 2-3 days older mails also in 2.3.3. But after installing 2.3.4, whenever I'm opening INBOX, Older mails are getting replaced with new mails automatically. I want my older emails to be in INBOX also.

If I try to do so in the MSC mode, Google Play tells me that the download of the app will start soon, but then nothing happens.If I connect the XPeria in the MTP mode, nothing happens except that my computer utters the first tone of the "USB connected"-signal three times. I`m having this strange problem with my iphone 4 (gsm). When I update to ios 5.1.1 two things different happens.
1 - When I update directly from my iphone it says it can`t install it. that a problem has happend and it can`t be installed.
2 - When I update from itunes, in any computer, i`ve tried on 4 differente machines, two macs and two pcs, my Iphone bricks. The process starts but id sudenly crashes. And when I connect it to my mac, it says that my iphone is in restore mode and i can only restore my iphone to ios 5.1.

My problem is pretty much everytime I try installing a new OS whether its Official or leaked, the DM or apploader refuses to recognize it. I have like 4 different OS downloaded and not one of them is recognized. I am currently stuck on 5.0.0.545 and battery life SUCKS.
