Aug 25, 2010I want to know if it is possible to install applications in the X10 downloaded from the internet with a PC. I do not have internet connection from my mobile and I would like to install some applications on it, but the only way explained in the manual is using the market and I can not use it.

May 21, 2010I recently bought my first Blackberry smartphone, The Blackberry Curve 8520. I was really impressed with the phone at such a cheap price since I am a teen, the 8520 is perfect for me. But I downloaded a few apps which I can use at home when theres wifi but i cannot use the Twitter, Facebook, UberTwitter apps when not at home (No wifi). Does anyone have the same problems? When i try to log in or connect without Wifi, It does not connect. And on Ubertwitter, The app keeps running but it doesnt connect to gprs/wap. Anyone have the same problems or know how to change the settings so that i can use the apps with GPRS/WAP Please give me your suggestions and/or solutions/help.

Apr 10, 2015I haven't found any way to change notification settings (silent/priority/sound) in Xperia Z2 when listening music or if music app is running after listening music. I have tried with different music apps (Walkman, Google Music, Spotify) and problem is present with all music apps. This problem came with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) upgrade. If I want to change notifications, I have to stop the music and close the music app. With KitKat I could just press the power button longer and get the notification settings, but not anymore with Android 5.0.

Oct 3, 2012If I connect the phone to my computer in the MSC mode, I have access to it via Windows Explorer etc., so e.g. I can load music onto my phone,but I cannot install Apps. If I try to do so in the MSC mode, Google Play tells me that the download of the app will start soon, but then nothing happens.If I connect the XPeria in the MTP mode, nothing happens except that my computer utters the first tone of the "USB connected"-signal three times. In the MTP mode the Sony PC companion also tells me that it´s not possible to connect the phone.I reinstalled the PC Companion, restarted my computer and my phone but nothing changed.Is there any possibility to install Apps in the MSC mode? If not, how can I make the MTP mode work again?

Sep 29, 2014After disabling "Show Notification" for apps on SD card, reboot the phone, this setting will become re-enabled. It seems the setting does not stick for apps on SD.
I've tested these steps but no luck:
- disable it, move it to SD, reboot.
- disable it, reboot, move it to SD, reboot.
- move it to SD, disable it, reboot.
Not sure if this is a bug or limitation of Lollipop. I'm using 5.0.2 on D6653 (build # 23.2.A.1.62).

scroll down a little bit and then open one app then if we go back then the list of apps comes from top. We have to scroll down again if we want to go into the same app or other app
And when ever we click on back we have to scroll again and again.Â

Jul 14, 2010Despite putting the very latest firmware on my 9700, the email Settings Application ( in Setup Folder - Email settings) still takes me to a browser based setup on the BIS . my old 8900 and my work 9700 has an application type interface.. Why is this a problem ? Because it wont let me setup gmail Contact sync .. Keeps giving me a message "To start xxxxxxxx@gmail.com contacts synchronization with your BlackBerry® device, complete the security activation on your device:
1. In the Setup folder, log in to the Email Settings application.
2. After you log in, the security activation starts. When security activation is complete, wireless synchronization of your contacts with your device automatically begins."
This does not work and I'm guessing because i dont have the latest email settings on the device.. I have tried re-installing firmware , wipes etc..
