Now that we have Cydia on our iPhone 4's i was wondering what are some of the best apps to download. I havent jailbroken an iphone for a very long time so i dont know too many apps out there.
When I download an app to my iphone 4S it appears as "installed", nonetheless, I the icon does not appear on the phone's screen. As a result I cannot use the application and if I try to install it again it appears as "installed. I tried resetting the phone to no avail.
I've got an iPhone 2G, jailbroken and unlocked, running 3.0. I got my iPhone back after a month of letting my gf use it, and it needed 6 app updates through the app store. On the 3rd update, it wouldn't download the updates any more. I restarted the wifi connection (turned off wifi then back on) but it didn't get the download going. I powered off the device and turned it back on. Now it has three "blank" (kind of a fuzzy white) icons attempting to install itself, but only downloads something and stops at the install. The phone subsequently becomes unusable at that time (i.e. really slow). Cydia crashes on me, so that's not an option.
I have iOS 4.2.1 and my games/ apps crash, most of the time they never open but this isn't always happening but time to time it does get quite annoyingly. Might it be because the iPhone 3G hasn't enough ram space or shall I hard reset the phone and then start opening apps, btw I download the apps of AppStore and I don't download them of any other source.
I guess the only way I can tether my iP4 to my 10v hackintosh without paying o2's 'extra charges' will be by jailbreaking right? Any other way?...If I put my already activated micro-sim into my iP4 at the store, what will I be able to do with it on my train back...or will i need to 'register' via iTunes first before i can mess with it?
If I have to register it via iTunes before i can do anything with it then i guess i can do this on a Mac at the store right (making sure i sign out properly after having finished doing this ofcourse)?I have already downloaded the apps i will be installing via iTunes to my netbook. i'm guessing i simply plug the ip4 into my netbook and install them on the way home...or will i need an internet connection to install already 'downloaded' apps?
I want to know if it is possible to install applications in the X10 downloaded from the internet with a PC. I do not have internet connection from my mobile and I would like to install some applications on it, but the only way explained in the manual is using the market and I can not use it.
H811 certain apps are not installing. I have a T-mobile Branded G4, but when I try to download certain apps from outside of the play store, the apk will download, and when I try to hit install the install button freezes somehow and my only option is to cancel it or close the screen, I already have the unknown sources button checked so I'm not sure what to do....
When i try to install an app that i downloaded from internet it does the install process but then says "app not installed". Apps from google play install just fine. I also have allowed unknown apps to be installed.
i am unable to install many Qt apps from the nokia store. When ever i try to install Qt apps on my phone, it ask me for installing the package but the installation stops during ' preparing installation' and does not go through ' finalising installation'. After this i does find the nokia smart installer icon but when i click on it, it says ' no installation pending'. I can also find the application in application manager but can't find its icon anywhere. Some Qt apps does install properly but many including wellness diary, nokia drop, etc doesn't install. My device is Nokia X6 16 GB and i have latest firmware and all Qt components installed on my device.
was trying to install playnow. downloaded it, phone says "install blocked" searched around people say go to settings and turn on setting to allow unknown apps. I don't see that setting anywhere. I have the x10a firmware 1.6 kernel 2.6.29-rel build r2ca016
I didn't install Galaxy TTS because I don't use S-Voice and I want to save storage space and cut down on the number of running processes. That's why I uninstalled all the updates and disabled it. The same goes for a number of other Samsung and other apps. But Galaxy Apps has just updated itself and proceeded to install TTS and some other stuff that I didn't want. I can uninstall them again but if I've been refusing to install the updates, why would Samsung think it was ok to install them anyway?
When i try to install Qt apps from Nokia store, it shows installing the app and nokia installer packages but at the end during "preparing installation", installation stops without "finalising installation" and the Qt app doesn't get installed in the phone. My device is Nokia X6-00, a Symbian^1 S60v5 device with the latest firmware. All Qt components are already installed.
I was wondering if someone could let me know how I could install apps via the memory card, or alternately from my Mac. I've download the .sis file to my mac but how can I install it from there onto my e63. Sorry if this topic has been brought up before, I've searched through the forum and found nothing and don't see any instructions in the manual.
i was wondering if RIM will change this annoying reboot each time you install something... It's not like the iPhone you can download an apps just for fun, with BB you have to think that you don't need your phone during 5 minutes, that nobody is going to call you, and it's so annoying.I think i would install so much more application without the automatic reboot.
I'm new to the BlackBerry but had an iPaq years ago with no internet connection. All I had to do was install a new app from my PC to the phone. I can't seem to figure out how to do that on the BB.
I have a Bible software I want to add as well as a couple of games. What is an application loader file?I went to applications/import files and tried to add my Bible software but it rejects it saying "There was an error importing files."
How do I find apps to download and how then do I download and install them? I am used to iPhone with the App icon and itunes but cant seem to find it for Xperia.
I have been having this problem of mobogenie installing useless apps on my phone which i have discovered am not alone. I realised the problem came from a virus which made my phone sign into an account i don't even know about , its com.zynga.wfnaccount. Which seem stole my google account details and passwords so have to reset your phone and change your google account password temporarily till you fight this nuisance. I am using the lg g3 on android kitkat.
I know that you can download apps manually by clicking on the link on the left side in the Windows Store (on PC), then you typically transfer that to a SD Card and you can have windows store on your phone recognize it on the SD Card on your p hone and you can install it.
iam using NoKIA E61i.why i install any new app or thems form mobile9 or anywhere while installing error occur that content certificate expired.it comes to all app while installing.why it sooo
i have just installed some apps/games from the ovi store. and after i restarted the phone it stayed on the (blue letters) NOKIA logo. no matter how many times i have removed/reinserted the battery it will always stay on the above mentioned logo.anything i could do beside from resetting the device with the 3 buttons sequence?should i take it directly to a Nokia care point to check it?i have two years warranty, is it possible to provide me with a new phone?Do you want to get all the firmware updates for your phone? Get a SIM-free one! It's so easy!
I am trying to install some apps (eg Opera mini) on my E51. I have made sure that the apps are compatible with E51. When I try to install them, I get an error saying the certificate is expired. I have read some forums and have made sure that under Apps manager/software installation is set to 'All' and online cert check is 'off'. I am still not able to install any of the apps.
I have a nokia E7 with Belle update , previously I had the Microsoft apps installed on my phone and for some reasons I had to do a full format and restore of my phone. My phone restore was only SMS and contacts. Then I tried installing the Microsoft apps again and after the installer file downloads , it ask me if it can download a 21 MB file , so I press yes and then it says " the connection was lost , canceling the installation "I am sure my network connections are OK, all the other applications download and install perfectly and I have tried it over 3G and Wifi. To be sure I did factory reset and it did not work.even when it creates an icon for smart installer , the same thing happens.
