Jun 10, 2010Have just been sent new E72 as my old one died (see my other post). All is well except when i connect to PC via USB cable and select 'Mass Storage' I get the message 'Memory Store Unavailable' on my phone and cannot access the contents of my memory card. I have the latest firmware on the phone. I can access the card through nokia PC Suite but that's a pain and I never had this problem before with my old E72.I'm running XP - if I go to my computer and double click 'Removable Disc (E' I just get the 'please insert disc into drive E' message.

Apr 16, 2012I was having GB version of android on my Xperia Pro. I am using X-plore file manager. When I tried to go to root enabled setting from settings menu of the app. the app said root access disabled and I was never able to get root access. Yesterday I updated to ICS from PC Companion and my app. was already there on my memory card. When I opened the app I was able to go to root folder and the app. haven't said that the root access is disabled. I disabled root enabled setting from settings menu of the app. but I am worrying about wheather any other app. that I install can change my root (default) files. Also my phone is in warranty and it is said that warranty will void if you root your phone. But I have updated my phone through PC Companion and just want to confirm that my warranty won't void.

Jan 19, 2010Unfortunatly though I cannot copy files to the memory card in the phone. It is accesible via the phones internal browser but not via my PC.
At the moment I have to work around this by copying files to a temporary folder on the phone and then use the phones browser to move it to the card (Double handeling).
I have seen the thread about the back cover and bad contacts but the back cover is firmly on and if the contacts were faulty I could not use the card which I can at the moment.

Nov 15, 2015My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..

When I went to file manager it wont let me access the mass memory as it says "memory in use". I thought if I synced it up to my Mac i could somehow get into the E drive and see what the problem is but low and behold its not compatible. Jul 18, 2011My company recently introduced a security policy that disallows the use of any from of external drives and I wasn't aware of this and i connected my phone to my laptop and couldn't access it and afterwards i noticed that i didn't have access to my files on either the device memory or memory card.I have tried saving stuff into them via bluetooth or from other systems but it won't show when i view it via my phone, however i can see the files on the system i can view the files. When i try to view the contents of the media card through the file manager i see that all the folders on the media card are showing as .exe files.I have tried to reformat the media card all to no avail.
