After I upgraded to 2.1, my wisepilot is expired (it might be a coincidence). However, as someone stated before, default apps are there to stay. So I have an app that's hogging up my phone memory which I don't use? I cannot use it unless I have a valid voucher, or even if I don't use it, there's no way for me to remove it...This is just one out of so many "default apps" that it comes with.

i have this problem since a month ago , it keep rebooting it self while im using the wisepilot , after a short period wisepilot issued an update for the software but it become worse , so i have uninstalled the update and i have repaired my phone using PC companion . after it goes well after the repair but unfortunately it start rebooting it self not only when im using the wisepilot but also while im charging the battery :S.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought a lifetime license to be able to download maps to my phone. Before I hade version 3.0 and there you could download maps for free. But after I upgraded to version 4.0 I bought the license. There is only a small problem now, there is no menu now to select "My Maps" and download. Tried to contact support but they don't seem to understand the problem. They keep telling my to navigate to the download menu.

I unistalled the because I dont need then. But after rebooting my Xperia, I saw again thise app on my app list! the I unistall then but each time, after rebooting my Xperia , I saw them on the app liste even if I used uninstaller pro or root uninstaller.how can I uninstall the definitively!

Felt very much comfortable with GB.Would like to know if there are any improvements done to ICS latest version, If yes, would like to try ICS version again.

I go to Settings > wireless and networks > Wifi. I turn it on, in the next screen I click on Scan - and nothing. It wont scan and so wont connect to any wifi network.

I don't think this is related to the upgrade as I was receiving texts for 2 days after upgrading. I normally use Handcent as my sms manager, but I've uninstalled it and gone back to using the pre-installed Messaging software, but that has not resolved the problem. I've also deleted messages so its not a case of Inbox being too full.

Part of the changes seems to be that I get new message notifications in the middle of my lock screen (meaning I press the power button and my screen goes from blank to the lock screen, and in the middle of that is a notification that says I have "New messages:1" with a envelope icon beside it. I've checked sms, email, whatsapp, skype, handcent, etc etc and I cant find any messages that are new. The notification bar is empty. I've also tried sending myself a message to see if it will clear, but it wont. I'd previously cancelled voice mail on the carrier side too.

I have the latests maps using map loader, but every time I try and start it navigating it tells me that my license has expired. In Shops & Licences/My Licences all that is listed is 'Drive Europe - Expired on 26/10/2009'.

I have a facebook account already set up for a while now. Now that facebook has the stay connected with your smartphone I have tried to connect my phone with facebook. I get a link sent immediately and everytime I try to install I get a message that reads your session has expired. This is within a few seconds of clicking on the link. I received this phone from my husband and believe it is already installed as I receive notifications from facebook on my blackberry but can not respond as I have to sign in. When I go to login, it will not allow me to. What the heck is with Blackberry or Facebook?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe problems with Comes with Music continue.My first year has expired, and though I have bought a second Comes With Music device I have not yet worked out how I am going to plug that in (see separate post about problems of only one phone per CWM account even if you buy a new phone and renew).
Put my old SIM in new CWM but without yet activating the PIN (two months from sales date to do so) and old phone gets upset and music stops working. Bizarre, so think redownload music to phone again, pain but if necessary will do so.
However, when I try to download the music from PC to phone using Nokia Ovi Player, won't let me, it tells me I have not got the license, I can only download music from the Music Vault.
So I download a track from the music vault, and then try to download it to phone.Still will not let me.Can play track quite happily on the computer, but not on the phone.
As an aside people talk about DRM and how if you are a legal music downloader (like me) then it should not bother you. The problem is I am trying to use music that I have legally downloaded to use on my phone according to my agreement with Nokia, and the DRM is stopping me using it, even though it should not. The reason people are against DRM it is all too good at stopping you doing what you should be doing.
I'm using my Nokia 5310, it has been updated to the latest firmware, I'm on the latest Nokia Music Player, and it expired less than a month ago.
