I have got a sync account and followed the instructions and it has told me that my contacts have be sent but account does not show them and phone says sync faild but online account shows phone has been sync'd
View 3 RepliesFrom time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?
The point is that nothing happens when the synchronization completes No new contacs on my online account, no changes on my phone.
The account is well configured and the sync starts and ends "fine".
I use a Mac laptop at home (older one with Tiger OS) , and PC at work. I do not want to share home info with the work PC but would like to be able to sync my work outlook calendar to my iphone 6.I also do not want my work email on my iphone. Of course the IT guys at work don't like Macs and say this can't be done.Â

I bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIf I fill out the address and birthday fields on the web site contacts page. Sync to my phone fails. If I fill out the address field on my phone, then it doesn't complete the relevent fields on the web site. The address fields on the web site are different to the phone and fields on the site are not supported by the phone's address book.
It seems like the two are running different software and are slightly incompatible
Using whatever crap came with this new S6 Edge, I can't get my calendar to sync with my work calendar no matter what I try. (It's a Microsoft Exchange thing.) I have talked to Verizon tech support,as well as the IT people here are work and my settings are right. So....now I'm thinking about trying to install the Nine Exchange app, even though it galls me to have to pay for a calendar that will sync.
My question is, should I uninstall both the email and calendar that are on my phone now, and then set them all up again after Nine Exchange is installed? I guess I'm not clear on what the app is actually doing.
Been searching around, and here's my dilemma. I have an Outlook account at work that is on their server. Is there anyway that I can sync my Outlook calendar to my Blackberry without having BES? Any work around?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Bold 9700 on BIS. Yahoo email does not synchronize the messages when read or deleted from the desktop online account. But it works the other way around. (when I delelte or read a message from the web email it stays unread on the device and I have to go and delete it or mark it as read manually). I have to do everything twice, specially that I am reveiving like 50+ emails every day in yahoo account only.
the email reconcilation configurations are
Delete on: Mailbox & Handheld
Wireless reconcile: On
On conflict: Mailbox wins
I called RIM and they said it should work 2-way, yahoo also it should work. I called Rogers, the tech support told me her device does like that. and all what she did was telling me change the configuration, save, change them back, and save again. and surely nothing of that worked.
I tried my yahoo mail, and other accounts, on iphone and HTC and they worked well both ways. I really am not sure why people claim that blackberry are the best email handler! a lot of people suffer from sync problems, and there is no IMAP folders support on BIS!
I have a black berry curve and my new work email is <Personal Content Removed> and it will not sync for me to get emails on my blackberry. I tried using the enterprise and the internet options and does not work. When I use the enterprise I do get an immediate email from blackberry but nothing ever synchs. When I try using the internet option is just says it is invalid.

The iTunes playlists are no longer displayed in the BlackBerry Media Player and my BlackBerry can not longer connect to WiFi Desktop Manager. It is only through the USB connection. But after the USB connection is missing, as I said, the playlists. If I delete the WiFi application on my BlackBerry, I see now the playlists. I use the Desktop Manager 6.0, as the Speedport 722V router, a torch with the software 6.0.0.448

When I connect the phone to my PC (Windows 7 x64), I get a computer pop-up that says "Drivers are being installed." This installation always fails. When I open Windows Media Player and hit the "Sync" tab, no device is listed.
According to the Motorola website, Motorola Media Link "allows you to easily transfer, sync, manage, back up and share your phone's content." Sure. The link to the program itself redirects to MotoCast USB, a separate (and apparently new) program which wirelessly syncs my music with my phone. The webpage says it does not physically sync my music. This program does not run when I click on its icon. When I found the .exe file in MS Explorer, I got a BSoD.
I just want a simple way to connect my phone to my computer to transfer my music. I would also appreciate it if Motorola was consistent on its own website about exactly what programs are available for users and what they do.
It doesn't seem to properly work with background sync. I have an action set up so that when I plug it in to charge my phone, it is supposed to turn background sync and wifi on. The wifi comes on, but the sync does not. I have to manually turn it on.

I have woke up the last two morning finding my LED Light blinking that I had messages.I woke up well before my Night time frame was over, so this should not have received any emails since I had background sync off.I could still see the SmartAction symbol in the top notification bar.This was working just find on Gingerbread.

I was using gmail directly to sync mail and calendar but this didn't (or at least I could find a way to) sync my gmail contacts to my phone contacts so i decided to use Exchange. I deleted my gmail account from my phone and added the Exchange account, following all the instructions on many websites like this one [url]. I selected 'ON' for mail, contacts and calendars. When I refresh contacts and calendar on iphone nothing happens. When I go in mail and refresh that it comes up with 'Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.'. I deleted the account and reset up in case i messed anything up but it's still not working.

I can not charge my phone and if I 'd like to charge it,I need to push charging cable a little bit to top of USB port. When I do that it charges but this action may occur negative consequences in the long term and also headphone jack has the same problem.
