However, I need to figure out how could I transfer all my data.The blackberry desk manager never did work on my old phone witch. On the GS3, certain icons would show "event counters" or whatever they're called in the top right corner. The email icon would show me how many unread emails I had. The Text Messaging app would show me how many unread texts i had. Facebook would show me how many unread notifications I had, etc etc... They were all the same, a number in a little orange bubble in the top right corner of each respective icon.

Xperia Z3 :: Show Notification Settings Does Not Stick For Apps On SD Card
Sep 29, 2014After disabling "Show Notification" for apps on SD card, reboot the phone, this setting will become re-enabled. It seems the setting does not stick for apps on SD.
I've tested these steps but no luck:
- disable it, move it to SD, reboot.
- disable it, reboot, move it to SD, reboot.
- move it to SD, disable it, reboot.
Not sure if this is a bug or limitation of Lollipop. I'm using 5.0.2 on D6653 (build # 23.2.A.1.62).

Oct 9, 2014Purchased a new SD card by Transcend 32G. It could not be found in the phone when inserted. I formatted the card on my PC after these failings, readily recognized there....and did a quick format and a soft reset, as well as a Hard Reset. Still the phone would not recognize the Card. More Reading. Back to the PC did a "slow" Format, turned off the phone and did a hard reset. At the large exclamation point I inserted the SD card and pushed the series of buttons to begin the "turning on of the phone". In my earlier formats and resets I didn't attempt to install the card until after the reset had been completed. My thinking in the last instance was "maybe" the phone would re-format the card.

The volume is about 40% the preview (I know it's linked to media volume) but even on max the message notification is really weak, there's no x-loud for us to boost the speakers and all other settings do nothing for volume.

I have Media Sync loaded fine. It reads my Windows Media Library just fine. When it loads the playlists/music for selection to sync, most show up as "Supported" in the Status column. However there are many that show up as "Not Found". Is there a file size limit or file name/path size limit that could be causing this? These are not DRM files. It happens to music that I have burnt from CDs and a given CD, for example, might have 13 songs on it and have only 4 of them show up as "Not Found". I'm not seeing anything like this in the forums.

Jun 28, 2010On my old phone the notification alram would repeat after 15 minutes of so until I had read my unread messages and ackowledged my notifications. This was really useful as I work in a noisy envirmonment. Can you do this on the Mini or do you have to keep looking at the phone to see if you have anything new - very sad. Also can you get a view only of new messages as currently I can see all including drafts so its tricky to know whats actually new incoming.
