i have replaced with a new Sim in my Sony Xperia neo V model mobile. Post which i see the new messages not coming to on top of the message list but are starting from the bottom.
how to do get the new messages to the top of the list since searching for a latest read message is tortorous now.
Every time I receive a sms, it will show up in the notification bar. When I go to the message list, it disappear.

Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackberry Bold 9000 from work, so I have no ability to install applications and no access to a web or PC interface. The device is connected via AT&T. I set up my personal Gmail account as a second inbox in addition to my work inbox, with only the work email showing in the main inbox. It was working fine until yesterday. I deleted two Gmail messages at once but the Gmail inbox appeared to hang on the message indicating it was deleting the second message. I was able to get out of the Gmail inbox to get to other applications, but the deleting message persisted when I went back into Gmail. I resorted to a battery pull to try to stop the process. When i booted back up, I still had both inbox icons. Opening the Gmail inbox shows an empty message list, but if I search that inbox leaving the search fields blank, it shows all of my messages in the search results. I cannot get the messages to appear without searching for them or setting them to show in my main indox, which I don't want to do.
I have tried repeated battery pulls, soft reset, deleting and recreating the Gmail account on the BB, deleting and resending the service books, and tweaking the synchronization settings for the Gmail account (calendar and contacts), all without success. What else can I try to make my message list appear?
New to the world of Blackberry and the support forum here. Just got my new Torch 9800 and having an issue with BBM. I received a BBM request from an unknown person named Griff. I figured it was spam and ignored it. It didn't go away so I declined it.Still didn't go away so I tried closing it. Still didnt go away.I tried deleting all prior and it deleted everything but this request?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a really weird and annoying problem with my Lumia 800.Pretty much it starts with this:The phone totally random powers off, it wont start until i put the charger in (even if the battery really is at 40% or more).After that whenever I receive a text message (sms and mms) it won't be listed in the messaging conversation. I only see the last sms I sent/got after the phone powered off, new messages is listed in the notification window, but only there. Sending new messages works, but they won't either be listed..So I can't really read my new texts other than in the notification window that pops up when I get a new one.Deleting all my messages doesn't solve it, restarting the phone doesn't either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I sent a text to somebody and then I checked back at the message center and it has this little icon that resembles a cell phone. I was a little puzzled yet intrigued.I tried to google it and nothing came up. Also when I checked bbm on that person that I sent the text to, the icon appeared again. Its just a verticle rectangle with a white box in the top of portion of the man rectangle. Again the icon looks like a cellphone.

I am no longer getting a "Voice Mail" notification in my message list. I get the VM icon at the top of the screen but it's so small sometimes I don't notice it. Is this an OS 5.0 issue? Is there a setting I need to change? I searched the forums and also the ? on the device.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever I receive a text message from a sender like American Airlines where their name/number is a random set of numbers, it will not remove itself from the home page list even if I delete it. If I select it after I have deleted it, it's just a blank message. Any ideas as to how to resolve this? The only thing that has worked for me so far is to reset the phone. I don't want to have to do that each time a message of this type comes in to my inbox.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself.Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).

I press on my favorites icon on the top menu on the homescreen and it brings up my contacts in there. I select a contact and it gives me 3 options, 'call', 'message' and 'view in contacts'. If I select view in contacts is brings up an error message saying 'Contacts: Memory Full. End some running applications and try again'. I have no applications running at all and this is my only request. Do you know how to resolve?

Am I just missing it? OS6 still seems to retain the ability to display prior saved webpages, but I have no idea how to make new ones.This feature was invaluable for reading news, plane flights, etc. I cannot believe RIM would have removed this feature.

I also I can't add any new contacts (if someone calls for example). It's just happened for no reason! The entries in my contact list were created on the phone. I did not import it or sync it with anything. But I cannot edit the contact. I go to phonebook, pick a contact, click edit, then I get the "Contact not found: This contact was not found in the Work Email contact list". I have no idea what this mean.
