my X10 wasnt reading the memory card when i tried to backup before upgrading software. So i syncd it using this website and then did the software upgrade. obviously all info was then wiped from the phone. however, it will now read the memory card, yay, which was the one it came with btw. so my q is, other than manually reinserting all of the info, how can i get it from this website, where its all been saved successfully, back on to my phone?
I had faced this issue when i last updated my phone when the 2.1 had come out.. I installed the latest Backup and Restore application as recomended by the SE update site.. Then backed up my files onto an already existing backup (which i think has corrupted the backup), hence overwriting the file.. After that i upgraded to 2.1 and restored my files, which failed because the contacts were not successfully imported (even though the Backup and Restore app said that the import was succesful.)
i was asked to repair the firmware using PC companion and hence want to backup succesfully without any problems. I cant risk loosing my contacts again. And i want to know from others in this forum if they have faced this issue on normal backup (not overwritten on an existing backup). [URL]
Hi NokiaI have updated my E7-00 to Belle yesterday and now when I'm trying to restore my contacts, calendar and notes from Ovi sync server I'm getting error 'Service activation failed. Try again later.'I've reed in this forum that the exact problem was in August-September 2011, which was solved only in early November by manipulating on Ovi Servers. How can I restore my contacts now? Will be the issue solved and how urgently?
I have a blackberry and I've recently bought an x10 Xperia for myself. I wanted to transfer my contacts and calendar from my blackberry to my x10 but for some reason, it does not work.
I backed up content using the backup/restore app that came with the phone, and i spoke to someone at o2 who said if i did that, i would be able to restore my texts and contacts (main things i care about atm) onto HTC Desire S, using that back up which i saved to my sd card. I have just given the x10 to a courier who has taken it away, and just tried to work out how to restore back onto the Desire, and now i'm starting to realise it may not actually work that way
I updated my Xperia X10 to 2.1 today. I backed up my contacts, messages, call logs everything. When the phone was updated and I restored everything contacts are missing all the rest are there.A little background to know. For some reason Xperia X10 cannot read my SIM contacts from the day I bought it when we were on 1.6 so I decided to create an CSV file to add them to the mobile memory not to the SIM.So now what? The restore is sending the contacts again to SIM that's why I cannot see them?
i was wondering if anyone could help me to find my contacts! i used the backup function on my phone then reset the phone thinking i could restore my contacts! after resetting i went to restore and the percentage went up and said it had finished but still no contacts! call log restored though! i then tried to import the ones i had saved on my sim again it finishes loading but when i go into phonebook it comes up with the same screen saying, import sim contacts, sync and google sync. however when a sim contact txt me their name appeared! yet i cant get to them in my phonebook! also now my phone wont acsess the internet, i have enables data trafficing but it wont open the browser.what is going on! is there a simple solution i have missed?
Today I went to update my X10. While at work it wouldn't allow me to as it insisted I connected it to a computer. So at home I got the USB cabled hooked up to my Linux Laptop and then discovered it had to be a windows computer.Anyway, I got it hooked to a Windows computer and the update process began. I followed every instruction and set all tickboxes for backup. After unplugging this and plugging it back in and rebooting here and there, it finally reached the restore process.I left it restoring for a while. When I came back to it, it said something had crashed. I don't know what as I'd just woken from a nap. But, it seems all my applications are restored. Yet my gmail account & Facebook account have become disassociated from my phone and all my contacts no longer have any names or pictures. I opened the contacts/phone book and the list is completely empty. tried to import contacts but it says it cannot find any anywhere.
Anyone who knows how to set up the X10 mini to synchronize calender, contacts, notes and tasks with outlook? Are not looking for the full integration with email, but a simple integration on a push/pull basis similar to the functionality available on SE PC suite for the older models using the USB cabel
How do I create a back up for my contacts, calender, music, photos etc coz i need to give my phone for servicing so that they can upload the bluetooth software???
A few days ago my message had lost and I wanted to restore back.My friend suggested me to use the restore function but after it complete, my files such as photo and contact and even new message had all lost. Due to glitches with the 5.1.1, I performed a back up, repair and restore as recommended in these forums. However my contacts seem to have been wiped out and it doesn't give me the option to import contacts stored on my Google account. All in all the 5.1.1 has been the upgrade fro **bleep**.
I tried to sync up the calendar between my calendar and the gmail calendar. Since the sync -up my normal calendar does not open saying there is a process error. Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.
I deleted the calendar from my BB Curve, just accicentally hit "Delete" in the Menu list. How to get the calendar application back onto my blackberry?I need the programme itself, not the data from the deleted calendar.PS: I tried SHOW ALL option, looked in all folders and checked the Application list. It is not there.
I synced my iPhone 4A with iTunes and it wiped out all of my calendar data. The really frustating thing is the reason I was syncing it was because all of my calendar data was not showing on my desktop Outlook client. So i wanted to sync the phone to get the calendar working on my desktop, but it ended up wiping out all of my calendar on the phone as well. So now I have no calendar data and don't know how to get it back.
I was trying to change my email passwords and deleted and added my accounts. After that, my calendar data disappeared. How do I restore this data and all my events?
how can we restore the deleted calendar entries, and how can we stop this deletion feature. Also can there be any other reason that the calendar entries are being deleted as my free memory is currently 86479796 Bytes.Apart from the battery and the phone crashing, deleted calendar entries is the main reason which makes we want to leave Blackberry.
I'm new here and I'm going to change my iPhone 4 to a replacement unit due to the "Home" button is not working. I would like to find out how can I export my current calendar out and restore it back to the replacement phone
After installing 5.0.0.713, I noticed I had no calendar icon anywhere. I looked in all of my folders and made sure it wasn't hidden. I resent service books and that didn't restore the icon. Any thoughts would be helpful.
I have a 3GS and it is locked on the apple logo. I have to restore but HAVE to try and save my contacts. Itunes is new so there are no backups. Is there any other way of getting into the phone and getting that info? Maybe SSH or something
