Feb 23, 2010Similar posts out here and can't find an answer: I have a BB Bold that was working fine today. Since 5:30 ET, it has gone to a black screen. When plugged in, the led light blinks 4 times, pauses, blinks 4 times, pauses, and so on. This blinking pattern has continued for hours. I unplugged and removed thte battery, and then returned the battery to the phone and plugged it in again with no improvement. The phone will not turn on and continues to blink as described. There has been no drop or moisture damage to the unit. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Tryed plugging it into a wall charger and laptop usb cable to charge, but each time the red time stay constant for about a minute and then it changes to flashing four times quickly then a short pause and then flashing four times again (and it just repeats this over and over again.)

Apr 28, 2014I get very obvious scanlines when I use a 4 second shutter speed when I want to take pics of the night sky, or very dark rooms without using flash. My past Lumia 720 did a much better job and could actually take photos of the night sky with the stars and clouds, even at midnight.
Here are some examples.
2 second shutter speed
4 second shutter speed
Pictures taken with a shutter speed of less than 2 seconds come out fine, and daylight photos are flawless.

Dec 16, 2011I plugged it into the wall charger last night as I always do, when I got up this morning the time on the clock showed 2.08am even though it was 5.45am, I unplugged the charger and the screen went black. The LED is flashing 1pause 1,2,3 pause 1, rather than a consistent flashing like when you have a message waiting.I have tried plugging the charger back into it but still nothing, just completely black screen and won't switch on.

Jun 10, 2012When I took my BlackBerry Curve 2 (8530) off the charger and turned it on this morning, for some reason it reset at the 51% mark during the security software verification. I'm worried that it somehow contracted a virus, or the phone's security software has been compromised. Is there any way to wipe the handset without the phone being powered on 100% (via the keypad or something)? The phone is under 3 months old and should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty - but until I get this fixed, I have no phone to use.

When i open the gallery and watching the pictures in the gallery in sequence, I am getting a popup message like "Gallery: Memory Full. Close some applications and try again". Do anyone facing the same issue and found the fix for this. I had 1001 pictures in the gallery. Still 2.3GB space is left in Memory-card and 22mb free in phone memory.

Jan 20, 2010I want to use the 'sequence' image capture mode of the camera to take images at a defined time interval. If I use the sequence mode the 5800 camera shoots a series of photos fast. I want to adjust this time interval. The Nokia 5800 user manual says that this is possible by selecting the desired time interval.

Jun 12, 2012Using PC Companion I have progressed to what I can only assume is the end of the preparation phase after 3 hours, the progress bar is complete; and then I get this meaningless message that the update failed.
This is very frustratiing as there is not much clue about what caused the failure. If it is because of a missing component, as pointed out already, why can PC Companion not check at the start of the marathon preparation that everything is in place and we will not waste so much time connected for nothing.
I have tried SUS and that fails because Windows can't find S1Boot with that remarkably phone procedure. I have looked at downloading S1Boot, as suggested, however then there are warnings on Warranty. Does PC Compantion/SUS download not contain S1Boot?

Jul 3, 2010Recently, I've got a brand new Xperia Z5 Green International unlocked from Amazon. It's super awesome, but there's problem with its touch screen. It doesn't respond to tap some times.
I assume it's software problem due to over heated, because every time I have this problem after restarting phone, it's solved.
