How can I assign photos to my shortcuts following the update on my xperia x10? Also I can see photo files via pc companion but damned if I can find them on the phone? Since ths major update it seems to have screwed up me being able to find anything via the phone itself.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt may sound trivial to some but one of my favorite BB functions was lost during the recent update and I can't seem to find how to restore it. I used to have the keyboard lock function assigned to the left side convenience key. This was really essential for me to have and now it is not available for me to assign when I try to assign something for the left side convenience key. I know the Tour has the option on the top of the phone to lock it but even when this is pushed, it will still unlock in my bag. How can I restore this option?

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy 9700 bold was working pretty slow so I plugged it into my boyfriend's PC and checked for a software update, there was one so I installed it. Everything went fine, this time the update didn't crash my blackberry like it had with my previous Blackberry Curve.I've noticed though that my calendar is no longer working properly. I now have TWO notifications of the same reminder/appointment instead of one even though I've only entered one reminder/appointment. Instead of having one calendar alert box, it says there's two. I normally just hit dismiss, which dismisses both notifications but this morning I just hit "snooze" when I did that, the second notification popped up the SAME notification I had just snoozed for 5minutes.How do I change this? It's not a huge problem, just a little annoying and I'm worried the glitch will cause problems down the road.This is my 3rd Blackberry in ONE year as it is..I need this to work properly. I can't afford to go out and buy ANOTHER Blackberry.This one already crashed when I originally installed the Twitter app from RIM, a month after I bought it!
Also after the update, does anyone else's top shortcuts that used to be "keylock" and "silent mode" now only have keylock(which no longer turns the screen on with your owner info) and the other shortcut is totally blank. Is there a way to change this? I liked having the keylock on but being able to bring the screen up to see if I have messages.Plus, I no longer hear my phone ring if it's in Locked mode..which is a pain in the **bleep**.
I updated my xperia ray to ICS and everything went just fine. But when I'm about to check my photos and videos, they're all gone. I tried looking for them through my file manager and Media Go, but nothing. My ASTRO app is not working properly either. They still occupies space on my SD card which mean they're still there but I can't see them. What should I do???

My issue is this: I have read several articles where it explains in full how to make keyboard shortcuts (for like your address for example) and I have followed the instructions to a "T". It doesn't work. I go into settings->Language & Input->Personal Dictionary->English(Canada){I've also tried it using the US setting}->add->type a word->shortcut. When I then go and try to use my shortcut in email, text or notepad, nothing works!

Initially I thought I might have leaned on the screen when it was in my pocket (although I was sure it had screen-locked) and it was processing the outstanding signals, but it is now doing it when I haven't touched the screen or had anything else pressing on it. Turning it off and on again helps for a bit, but it starts again after a while. Is this something a software update would resolve (though I'm not having any success with the SUS either.

View 10 Replies View RelatedUntil I updated my C6-01 to Belle, I was satisfied with the quality of the photos, given the known restrictions of the fixed focus lenses.
After Belle update, I have this impression that almost every photo I take is out of focus. I allways use the virtual button on the camera app to shoot photos, and not the physical button on the right side of the phone. I have not dropped my phone on the ground or something. I allways take good care of the phone.
What do you C6-01 owners think of that?
After the update all my photos disappeared. Checked in the galley section and Facebook but they are not there. Where they could have been moved to.

When I tap my screen and choose adding shortcuts only my second page of shortcuts show, where the Facebook app. are. My first page do not show, where phone and contacts are. I had these before but now I can not figure out what to do to get the phone shortcut on my desktop.
