Pc cannot connect and mount sd to pc. the top bar usually can drag down but now, the is nothing, just charging the phone without promp any option.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just updated my Atrix 4g with Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it fried my contacts lists. I had over 150 phone numbers that were trashed to 34 and some of these were even munged. Is there any way to recover my phone number lists? The update even stated in one screen that the contacts would not be touched, but I now have no groups and mostly suspect phone numbers.

My personal experience with Atrix on froyo 2.2.2 with lapdock is not bad i.e. battery is good, network & wifi is good, movies playing in wide screen mode.So I am asking what the benifits of updating/upgrading to gingerbread are actually. I only know one i.e. I tried to download Asphalt6 for atrix and it mentioned I need 2.3.4 to run this HD game(but then i came to know that it is not released for Tegra2 processor yet).

System version is 64.1.22.A953.Retail.en.GB No problem for the first few days but since then the screen switches off randomly (that new CRT-style shutdown, very cute). I can be viewing Google Maps, or using the camera, or browsing the web...doesn't seem to be a single trigger. The screen turns off and if I switch it back on quickly it will switch off again; if I wait a few seconds and switch on then it stops freaking out and the screen stays on.I've been using Cloudskipper and WinAmp with the lockscreen features enabled (since the stock music player on Milestone2 doesn't show up on the lockscreen). Could these be the culprits - is there something unstable in 2.3's lock-screen?Screen timeout and security timeout are set to 60 minutes.

Gmail doesnt work, I've been other forums and tried entering 'nul' as the password, this doesn't work. Then I tried to do a repair using SE PC companion but I can't mount my PC as my phone won't let me pull down the top menu to be able to do this.

When I do select the option to mount SD Card I'm given a message saying it's "Preparing" the card, and then does nothing, nothing has changed. It displays this message and remains in the storage area settings screen.
How do I resolve this so that I can access and use my card?
whenever I connect my phone to USB on the PC, the option to mount does not appear.The phone charges, which means that the USB / wire is working fine, but the alert that asks if I want to mount to PC doesn't pop up.

I removed the SD card and checked it with my PC and everything is fine on that end. I'm at a loss at what to try next. View 4 Replies View RelatedI received a notification on my xperia x10 to update new software so I updated the sony ericsson PC companion first (as that needed updating). I backed up my files using My Backup Pro and then I followed the update procedure.
1 Start - Took about 25 minutes to download the update files
2. Prepare - I followed through this procedure so many times but nothing is happening unlike the previous updates i've done. ( Disconnect USB from phone and PC, more than 50% charge (Mine was 96%), turn phone off and wait 5 secs, connect the usb cable to PC, then while holding the back button connect the usb to the phone.......but nothing happens afterwards (unlike with previous updates). Only the phones lights turn on with the SE logo and then the battery sign just appears.
I'm trying to install the new Gingerbread 3.0 on my phone and whenever I get to the part on PC Companion where it says to hold the back button as i re-connect my USB it does absolutely nothing once I re-connect it.

Then I root and after that and I upgrade trough FOTA to .62 but my phone got bricked because I have the bootloader allowed. Mine was ok on the 2.1 after the update the phone is soo slow.it sometimes becomes unsuable then i have to take the battery out and reboot..even the Task Kill App (Advanced task Killer) from the Android Market doesnt make any dfference....When I kill the apps it usually says i have 51MB memory avilable... just dont know where the rest has gone.. on the 2.1 if I killed all the apps i usually would get around 128MB memory...It hangs and the response is very very slow ever since i upgraded....The only positve side to the Gingerbread update I can see is the Flash Player and thas about it...

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently got my x10i from a friend who had never updated it from the original 1.6 android version that it came with, so i have updated to the recent gingerbread update. The problem is that since the update, the buil in camera app will open, but as soon as i press the shutter button (or use the touch function) to take a picture it hangs and won't do anything until i exit. All the while it is hanging it is actively displaying whatever i point it at, but it won't take a picture. The annoying thing is that other camera apps such as camera360 work fine and will take photos, but i want to be able to use the face recognition and video functionality of the built in app.
