Xperia X8 :: Its Not Starting After Installing ROM
May 15, 2012So I was trying to install a ROM (Froyo 2.2 (first MiniCM6 then XperiGinger V4)) (from 2.1) to my Xperia today and after it installed -"correctly"-, everytime I start the phone it doesnt go more than the "Sony Ericsson" logo. It just stays at the frozen image. I fixed it once with PC Companion, executing the repair tool but then the error came back and now even tho Im trying to repair it again, PC Companion (and SEUS) show a sign that "my device is fully actualized and there's no new software to upgrade to", meaning I cant fix it anymore (like if it could only be fixed once).

Apr 30, 2012I have a Non rooted Locked Xperia Neo V.Yesterday I tried to update the device to IceCream Sandwich via PC companion. It downloaded the whole update but while installing it on the device It gave an error message "an error has occured during the update, Please click on retry to try again."
I tried that but it did not work.After that my phone got bricked. It does not start at all. It does not show the logo too.When I hold the power button, I see the green indicator and then it vibrates a bit, but nothing happens.I also tried to open the bootloader screen by holding the two bottons below the screen and starting the phone. Here I get a blue indicator light and a vibration and as usual nothing happens.

May 26, 2011Both on my windows 7 pc's (32bit and 64bit) Sync Zone will not start. When I first clicked on it, it seemed to install ok.But then nothing happens when i click on Start.I tried uninstalling PC Companion and reinstalling it.I have Outlook 2010 with multiple accounts.

Sep 14, 2012Today, while i was recharing my Sony Xperia Neo V using the USB Cable connected to my desktop, i have received a call for which i have disconnected the phone from charing and attended the call.
After my call, have observed my phone restarting automatically. From that time, my mobile was very hot. It is hot at receiver location. Which is at the top of the phone. I have dismanteled the phone, expecting it would be fine after some time, but it remained hot for around 1 hour. Finally i have removed battery from the case and kept it open.
After 30 min, mobile is in normal condition and i again switched on the mobile. 75% of the battery fell to 1 % in hardly 5 min. I connected the USB again to recharge the mobile, but the battery was charged to at most 4 % , but mobile got heated up again. I decided to remove the battery and switched off the phone for around 5 hours.Later when i tried starting the phone, it was not starting, not charging. Tried multiple times,but not charing, when ever i connect to charge, phone is becoming really hot.

Nov 20, 2010I bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didn´t noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
I´ve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.

Jul 27, 2015I have a big problem with my Xperia Z3, I i am using lollipop 5.0.2 . It worked fine with no issue until yesterday when I restart my xperia z3 it just keep on restarting . I switched it off and the on again.
Now its stuck at” Android upgrading, starting apps” all the time and it keeps restarting. I have tried to soft –reset nothing is happening. I have reached at a level to lose everything in the phone especially my contacts by deciding to do a hard/factory reset but still I cant do that using volume up or down. I am totally stuck. How to get rid of this. I cant get into recovery mode coz nothing is happening when I press key combination.

Aug 22, 2012I decided to upgrade my Xperia Pro (SI 1252-5232, it´s in the list) to ICS. the Sony PC Companion sees the phone and writes an update to version 4.1.B.0.587 is possible, so i click on agree, it downloads the SW to the PC, and than it TURNS OFF THE PHONE and shows a step-by-step guide how to update (1. disconnect USB cable from phone and PC, 2. battery must be +50%, 3. turn off phone and wait 5 sec.->>???WTF? how can i turn it off when "it" turned it off itself? 4. connect USB cable to PC, 5. hold "back" key and connect phone to USB). I tried it several times, with MTP and MSC mode, disconnected it, turned off, waited 5 secs, pressed "back" and connected" maybe 5 times all the possible ways, but it simply does nothing when I press the back button and connect it, only the LED is green.
I´am doing wrong? How long should I press the back button, which phone-settings are required, where could be the error?

Feb 1, 2011I upgraded my phone last night and tried to restore my data, it started working so i just left it but it seemed to be taking AGES, anyway I decied to just let it carry on overnight but when i checked it again this morning its still nowhere near completing it says contacts are on 98% an text messages on 10% should it be taking this long and how do i speed it up? surely it shouldnt take 12hours
