i finally updated my xperia x10 mini pro yesterday, but my applications went, so i want to download them all over again but its just stuck on starting download. anyone know why? apparently, it has something to do with gmail...also, its nothing major, but in my phonebook, numbers have come up twice.when adding a contact, the option phone contacts and syncML comes up, whats syncml?
View 4 RepliesMy phone prompted me to upgrade to 4.1.83 and when I said ok, there is a notification icon saying "Download will start when connected to a WiFi network". So I connected to a WiFi network, the download did not start. Gave it some time, switched WiFi on and off a couple of times, powered off/on the phone a couple of times, still do not see it starting to download. I also tried to download some apps from android market place (on wifi) works fine, but the software update never starts. Or Is there a way to manually get the 4.1.83 update to update from 4.1.57 and load it to the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to take advantage of googles 10p app promotion but it seems that for any app I buy I get stuck at the "starting download" screen. This is the first time I've tried buying an app and its just not working. I can download free apps from the Market just fine, its just the paid apps that are giving me grief! I've googled about and tried the "clear cache" from Market app and "clear data" from download manager but it just doesn't work!

I have a big problem with my Xperia Z3, I i am using lollipop 5.0.2 . It worked fine with no issue until yesterday when I restart my xperia z3 it just keep on restarting . I switched it off and the on again.
Now its stuck at” Android upgrading, starting apps” all the time and it keeps restarting. I have tried to soft –reset nothing is happening. I have reached at a level to lose everything in the phone especially my contacts by deciding to do a hard/factory reset but still I cant do that using volume up or down. I am totally stuck. How to get rid of this. I cant get into recovery mode coz nothing is happening when I press key combination.
I just updated to the lastest software, and the phone won't start after being disconnected from the computer. When I hit the start button a get a response from the LED light, but nothing happens.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didnt noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
Ive tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.
Tried to download madden 11 and stuck at 100% and "download in progress"

I have checked my settings and it is set to rotate when I turn the phone and still nothing. Tried factory reset, I'm on the most recent build (I think, pc companion isn't offering any updates) still nothing.

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.

It is somehow stuck in a reset loop, it starts in safe mode, is locked and won't allow me to press any buttons at all. Once it is turned on i have to remove the battery to turn it off. My warranty has run out for this phone now but I do like it and don't currently have the money to get a new one really.

I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedA colleague who owns the N97 mini has just installed maps, and after rebooting his phone, it won't start it displays the white 'NOKIA' screen for approx 1 minute before switching off (it's fully charged). No key presses etc help, we can't get past the nokia screen.
He then asked me to reboot my N97 (not mini) and sure enough have the same issue, however after several attempts at switching on, I've managed to get mine to start, by seemingly pressing random buttons. I've tried this a few times now, and by repeatedly pressing right on the D pad, enter, and the camera button, my phone starts OK.
I only received my phone back from repair yesterday, and it was freshly flashed with the latest '3' firmware (my colleagues N97 mini is a virgin branded phone), and OVI maps was a suggested update yesterday nothing else has been installed on my phone since that.
I have PC Companion installed and the and update service installed. When following the instructions, I get to the download bit and it starts and then just stops. An error message then comes up saying that there was problems with the internet (despite me being on broadband) and using the internet at the same time. Firewalls are all ok and all working. Battery life is 77%.
