i have tried about 10 times now to download the new 2.1 software on my x10 but with no joy, once i come near the end of stage 2 of the upgrade it then cancels and gives me an error message saying (unable to start phone and update components)

An error message then comes up saying that there was problems with the internet (despite me being on broadband) and using the internet at the same time. Firewalls are all ok and all working. Battery life is 77%.

I am having trouble downloading from Android market on my Xperia X10 mini pro. I have updated the software from 1.6 to 2.1, I have tried signing out of google talk, removing the market updates and clearing the market cache and have now done a factory reset and I still can't download from the market. Any apps I have tried to download are showing on the market on my computer as being downloaded. My husband has the same phone running the same software and has no problems downloading from the market.

I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications.I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly.
When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to.Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all.
no games like resident evil 4 (or just resident evil for that matter) that we can download on our SE phones? am not a fan of iphones, no offense meant to iphone users also. BUt what I envy is my friend has a RE game at his mobile or any gimes alike.

But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market. The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused". I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key. No luck by booting either.
