I have a problem with my text messages. In a convesation there are too many text messages and the now the conversation is stuck. I can't see any of my messages right now and I was wondering if there is something that I could do for it. I don't want to delete these messages.
View 2 RepliesI can't open messages on my xperia mini. Its showing me I have 9 unread messages all received over the last few days but when I go into messages it shows nothing. This happened after the battery got low so it turned it self off and then when its recharged it seems to revert back to a date in the past. I have turned on and off, deleted some messages, reset date and time - all make no difference.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past week or so, my texts messages get stuck. What I mean..If I'm texting a friend and we are going back and forth, all of a sudden, the text msg wont open. I can scroll thru the list and open, reply to my other friends, but not the one im communicating with at that moment. I press the trackpad a ton of times and it just wont open. Even if I receive a new text, it still wont open.Can anyone diagnose this problem and tell me what I should do? I'm sick of doing the 5min battery pulls.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use text alot to keep in contact with my boyfriend who lives 250 miles away and our conversation had got quite lengthy which has been causing it to freeze lately and sometimes the text app crashes altogether when I open our conversation thread. I really should have deleted the whole conversation once this started to happen but there were a fair few photos and also some audio clips that he had sent me which I wanted to save and hadn't got around to doing yet (I usually just forward any photos etc to my email that I want to save due to the annoying issue of not being able to save MMS content on the Xperia X10 mini) and some lovely texts which I was reluctant to delete.
However, a couple of hours ago when I tried to open our conversation it just wouldn't open, all I am getting is a blank page. There are 5 texts unopened from him tonight and I cannot read them at all, just a blank blue page and I can't see our previous texts back and forth at all. All I want to do is open the conversation so that I can forward the photos I want to keep to my email and then I can go ahead and delete everything so that I don't have the problem of freezing and crashing anymore and so that we are able to text one another again. Does anybody know of any way I may be able to get this conversation open in order to salvage my precious photos before deleting everything? I really am reluctant to just go ahead and delete the entire conversation before I can work out a way to save these pictures but obviously I realise that if this turns out to be impossible then I will have no choice but to lose the photos. I'm kicking myself now for not saving the photos as soon as I received them and the originals have been deleted from my boyfriends phone as soon as he sent them. I've tried shutting down the phone and turning it on again, I've tried deleting other conversations to see if that helped, I've even tried plugging the phone into my laptop via USB to see if I can access the texts that way but I'm not even sure if that is possible. Has anyone ever had just a blank blue page come up when trying to open a conversation or knows how to get it open without deleting the entire thing?

I have checked my settings and it is set to rotate when I turn the phone and still nothing. Tried factory reset, I'm on the most recent build (I think, pc companion isn't offering any updates) still nothing.

And i have to take out the battery and insert again for it to function properly. I am in Pakistan so i cant take it to any Sony franchise.. I got it checked here locally and found out that the slider strip is damaged. Can u tell if its really the strip and if so can u parcel me the strip if i pay for it.

However, when i try and open 'Office Suite' which was pre-installed on the phone it tells me there is an update availalbe and to continue i need to download this. When i select the 'update' button, the process begins but after a few seconds i get an error message saying 'installation failed'. I've had no problems opening any of the other pre-installed apps, and have downloaded some from Android Market with no problems.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.

It is somehow stuck in a reset loop, it starts in safe mode, is locked and won't allow me to press any buttons at all. Once it is turned on i have to remove the battery to turn it off. My warranty has run out for this phone now but I do like it and don't currently have the money to get a new one really.

I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
Can't open call log, contact,and messages, after firmware update 23.4.A.1.232 mobile heating so much solve this problem soon

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was having problems with my x10 mini pro over the weekend when sending texts, it was being really slow and kept saying there was a problem with the messaging application and asked me if i wanted to "force a close" or "wait". I chose wait everytime and everything seemed ok, except for being really really slow. Today I got the same message when sending a text, but it didnt give me the option to "wait" and I had to press "force close". Well, it then showed me as having NO text messages in my history....I have lost them all. I went in the Vodofone shop and he said they are gone for good....does anyone know anyway I can get them back? Some of them are really special to me and I hate the thought of losing them all like that with no warning

But whether I download the MMS settings or manually input them. When I send an MMS it gets Queued when I recieve one, I hit download but it doesn't download.

Anyway i put the battery back in and now i can't recieve text messages, i recieve the notification for them and so i click to view but they have dissapeared from my inbox so i have no idea what any of my messages say. It's really annoying as i rely on my phone heavily and not being able to read messages makes using the phone really difficult.
