i rooted my .587 ics on pro and it appears that my wifi has become weaker. i am sitting right near the router but cannot connect.
even though the phone wifi isn't as strong as my laptop wifi but it should be able to pick up.in fact, i created virtual AP on my laptop and i'm sitting right next to my laptop and i can't pick up the virtual AP why is this? does this have to do with rooting?
Having issue on my D6633 since KitKat, now updated to LP 5.0.2 23.1.1.E.0.1 and still same. When I go in 5 meters from router behind 2 walls and signal strength decrease a bit download speed drops almost to Zero, but upload speed is ok.

When near router 2-3 m without any obstacles download speed is ok. Any other my phone (Samsunf S3 for ex.) have no such issue in same location...
I bought neo v and having 2 issue on that,
1) Wi-fi issue: Wi-fi signal strength is weaker then other phone like HTC wildfire S, i am having another phone wildfire s and in the same room the signals of wifi of HTC is good and in neo v signal is too low/poor which results connection is lost time to time , to resolve the issue i've to delete/forget the connection again n again.
2) Its light sensor is too sensitive , in dim lights its brightness is too low while in gud background lights its brightness is gud.Please provide any solution to switch off that sensor.
I bought an international unlocked version of Galaxy S6, was expecting to have the option of Wifi Calling like my S3 does, but it was missing. It should be under 'Connections' but it wasn't there.

i want to downgrade my phone from ICS to Gingerbird. I dont want to take my phone to service center bcos they asked to wait from few days for downgrade process.I am going to other state forsome months in mid of next week . So its not possible to wait for some days to downgrade via service centre and also i dont like this laggy ICS on my phone. I want the steps to downgrade my phone by own and also i dont want to break my warrenty bcos i have more than 8 months of warenty period.Still i m confuse about rooting in phone. However, some apps like Xplane or German media apps keep showing the navigation bar. This looks rather silly and takes away precious space on my screen.

When I tried to go to root enabled setting from settings menu of the app. the app said root access disabled and I was never able to get root access. Yesterday I updated to ICS from PC Companion and my app. was already there on my memory card. When I opened the app I was able to go to root folder and the app. haven't said that the root access is disabled. I disabled root enabled setting from settings menu of the app. but I am worrying about wheather any other app. that I install can change my root (default) files. Also my phone is in warranty and it is said that warranty will void if you root your phone. But I have updated my phone through PC Companion and just want to confirm that my warranty won't void.

I have tried the DooMLord, UnlockRoot &Super OneClick approaches and all have failed. I am a complete noob, but finally decided to root after constantly getting the "Low on space" error message every time I try to update something for the last week. I'm looking for a solution to either a) root the phone without unlocking the bootloader (which is my first choice) or b) solve the "low on space" issue. I love my XPERIA Play and changing phones is not something I'm willing to do. Hopefully you guys can help.
