I am trying to update my x10 mini with PC companion. At step 2, it ask to deconnect the phone and switch it off.... When I hold the back key and plug the cable on the phone, the green light turns on for 10-20s and then nothing. I kept the key for approx 1 min but nothing is happening. When I release it, the phone go on charging.

Because the previous times I did a factory reset on my Z and backed up data, it didn't have a lot of effect, because I still had to re-download all the apps and lost all the data (except if gaming data was stored on Google Play)

The only thing that gets it working is turning the phone off. I thought it may be the screen protector but have taken it off and it is still there. I have not used the phone as anything but a phone (no internet browsing at all, have not even connected to the internet) so not sure whether firmware will help as it is new and could not have been damaged remotely?

Like most every Verizon subscriber who owns an Xperia play, I'm no longer able to sync with Google or pretty much anything else since the most recent update. I've tried talking to both Sony and Verizon customer support and they've both been equally useless, telling me to wait for an update which could be anywhere from a week to several months away, depending on who you talk to.Since I'd rather not wait for an update that may or may not be coming, I'd like to know if it's possible to revert back to 2.3.3, which worked just fine.
