I have a question. Let's say I want to do a factory reset or system repair and I want to back up my apps and my data via the Back Up and Restore, will my apps AND the data on it be restored? Because the previous times I did a factory reset on my Z and backed up data, it didn't have a lot of effect, because I still had to re-download all the apps and lost all the data (except if gaming data was stored on Google Play)
View 4 RepliesI start going through the update. I do a backup of everything I have and open the PC Companion, then do the update. It downloads and installs the update, then tells me to turn on my phone.when I turn it back on, it's the same thing.

I thought that might solve the problem but it made things much worse. When the phone powered back on it some how reset itself and i've lost all my texts and photos. It will not connect to the internet through media web and all themes and wallpaper settings are gone. I don't know what to do with it short of taking it up to the AT&T store to see if they know what is going on.

I'd correct a word and if it said "would you like to add 'es' to the dictionary" (or whatever I had typed in) I just said yes. Now it keeps putting in these non-words and I can't get rid of them. Just got a new iPhone 4 the other day. I was charging the phone and it fell, only a couple feet at most. There is a small crack in the back of the phone now, and it won't turn on anymore. My friend has a iPhone 4 as well and we swapped out the battery and the back housing (just to make sure that the crack didnt short anything out) but the symptoms persist.
I have it plugged into the wall charger now, tried doing a hard reset (holding home and power for some time) but nothing. This is very frustrating to think that the iPhone 4 is this fragile. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try to get this device back up and running? Any help at all would be very appreciated.
The text messaging app gone missing after a soft reset. This on windows 10 build 10536. There was lots of apps in the store listed error and could not install, so I did a soft reset. Everything is backed on and few app still could install with error code.
The main problem now is the text message app gone missing. The button display as 'Microsoft messaging', when I click on it says need to download an app then direct to store, but then nothing happens.
Yesterday, my Incredible started behaving strangely- First- when i was driving to an appointment, it turned itself off and reset itself. When it rebooted, all my settings (Home wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts) were gone. My contact shortcut page was OK, but other setting wiped.
Today, i am deleting emails from my POP3 account, and after I delete many emails, i return to my home screen. Then i can return to my email account and the same deleted emails are back! I powered the phone off, and powered it on, now my wallpaper is back to default.
