Sep 7, 2010Right, well I've had the phone for just over 1 month now and the other day it ran out of battery. When I went to charge it, it wouldn't start charging!I've tried charging using usb and PC.. still nothing... The red light just flashes slowly but never does anything!

Aug 11, 2010I have a sony ericsson t715. anyway whenever i charge it it will get to 100% then if you leave the charger plugged in it will drop to 99% or 98% and just stay there no matter how long you leave it charged in! for example my battery got low last night so i charged it overnight and when i woke up this morning it was stuck on 98% with the charger still plugged in!

Nov 13, 2010I got my Elm in June and to start with it was fine. There was the occasional moment where I almost had a heart attack when it wouldn't charge straight away but other than that there were no problems. A few months later, an update came out which I immediately installed on my phone. After the update, the home screen would no longer show my calendar, Facebook etc. (the widgets) and I discovered that other elm users were having the same problem after the update so I wasn't too worried by it.
However, I went to charge my phone one day (it still had 20% battery) and plugged it in using a Sony Ericsson wall charger and it did not respond, not even after several hours of waiting. The charger was definitely plugged in, turned on and correctly connected to my phone yet nothing happened. I turned my phone off and on again, still nothing, even when I used different wall chargers. I tried using the USB cable and plugging it in to my laptop and luckily it responded. However, it is very inconvenient to have to plug it in to my laptop every day and it charges painfully slowly. Is anyone else having this problem and can I do anything to fix it?The other problem I am having is that the Elm is using data (which I am being charged ridiculous amounts for) on its own.
I occasionally check my phone to make sure I don't have any missed calls or texts and within the last couple of months, I have noticed that sometimes the Mobile Internet globe is visible in the top corner of the screen and I have no idea why. I haven't done anything different to the settings yet I am being charged maybe £10 a month for data and I don't know what it is being used for or why and when it is activated. My phone is always on lock in my pocket so there is no way that I could be pressing any buttons by mistake and I have made sure that no applications are running. I have tried to keep Wi-Fi on in an attempt to stop the automatic connection to the mobile network but it just runs the battery down immediately and does not stop the data being charged to my account.

Sep 7, 2010I was installing the latest software update on my new Satio tonight and didn't realise I had insufficient battery charge until midway through the update. The phone crashed before finishing the update and now doesn't seem to take a charge, I have taken out the battery, SIM card and memory card and put them all back in, and had the phone connected to the charger for over an hour, but I have no indication from the phone that it is charging and it won't boot up. May 20, 2011I 'm just opening a new discussion after SONY decided to buy the rest 50% of Ericsson's stocks.Last night I was furious with some news I read from SE and was also furious with something I found out when.I tried to connect to SE PC Companion. But let's take things from the beginning.
I'm a NON proud owner (no more) of a SE XPERIA X10. I bought this phone for 600 Euro, almost a year ago The support and solutions I found to my problems with this phone was absolutely NONE! Nobody cares if you have a problem with a 600 Euro piece and you have almost no support from SE. We spent 8 months trying to persuade SE to release 2.3.3 for X10 only to find out that half of the things were removed from the phone and that most of the things you can do with PC Companion Wirelessly with all the other phones, you CANNOT do them with X10!!! Not to mention the speed of the phone.

May 25, 2011Since some time ago i've noticed that my X8 stopped charging from USB. When i first got the phone, it charged fine. I've charget it from USB couple of times, but mainly used the outlet charger.Now when i connect the USB it starts to drain battery even more and continues to do so untill i restart the phone. I've tried different cables with same result. When i connect the phone it shows an usual popup asking what i would like to do. regardles of what i choose i get the same result.
On some forum i've encountered a tip to remove the SD Card and try to charge the phone. I did that. At first it looked like it really started to get the charge. (level 72%, I'm using battery monitor widget and it showed that the current changed positive.But after a few minuted it stopped doing so and turned negative again. (Level 66%) i've restarted the phone, and the level dropped to 62%...Some time ago i've changed the stock 2GB card to a 16Gb kingston card.

I have tried the wall charger and I have charged the USB charge and still nothing. I have purchased a new battery and that is now dead and no it won't charge! I am confused when you plug the charger in it starts the phone as it would normally, but then the phone shuts down because it has no battery. Aug 25, 2012The battery was about 10%, and I was downloading a game. All of the sudden, it froze and after a few seconds it turned itself off. I triend to turn it on, but I couldn't, so I thought battery died, and I left it on the charger over night. In the morning, it still couldn't turn it on, and anything I triend didn't work.When I press and hold the ON/OFF button, it just vibrates shortly and nothing happens. If I repeat that, it won't even vibrate until I pull the battery off, than put it back, and try again. Won't charge on the charger, won't charge on USB cable, won't turn on. I don't know what to do, I already tried Hardwer Reset (with and without charger) - didn't work, tried connecting it to the USB and holding the BACK button - still nothing. Sometimes, when I try to turn it on, it won't vibrate, and the red light flashes (that means the battery is low, right?). Sometimes it doesn't react at all, no vibration, no red light, nothing.
