I can connect my Xoom and iPad just fine, but my laptop and desktop both windows 7 ultimate say they cannot connect. I have not tried to connect with USB so I don't know if that works. when or if we can get ICS for the razr?

I was hoping to use this to enable me to access the internet on a netbook and it seems like the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot function would do the trick.However, when I tried this I get on to a T-Mobile page that is then asking me for more money and it seems that T-Mobile can detect that it is a different device than the phone trying to access the internet.

Anytime I try to connect to Sync Manager since, it loads my music and says "phone connected (loading data...)". This screen will last for at least twenty minutes until I run out of patience and quit the program.

But of-late the frequency has increased, it keeps doing it every few hours. I tried solving the issue by hard reseting the phone. After which it was fine for a few days and now it has started again.

This is supposed to be easy: just use the RUUprogramme that can be found on htcdev.com. The problem is that all the versions of the RUU there require a LOWER version of the ROM. I have 2.26.401.3; no RUU seems to be working with this.
