Im planing to buy one of this two phones, i need a phone for music (with lot of bass and good clear sound), i read that the 810 is better comparing camera, but w610 for music, also haves a walkman 2 player, and a few better features than w810, i also read that w610 supports only 1GB, other says 2GB other 4GB so whats the maximum capacity for additional memory on this phone?

I have music and audiobooks in mp3 format and when i choose TRACKS they apear all togheter. filtering them out by playlist isnt a option because i update my music frequently and i dont have time 2 insert any new song in a "MY MUSIC PLAYLIST". in the manual it sayz that when u select TRACKS it only shows you the music without the ringtones and that's not true.

the version it had when I first bought the phone even enabled me to play and add .amr files in the media center. I really found it useful because the I could even fast forward or rewind my recordings. I can't remember the version I had then. My current firmware version is- R3EG004.
And I can't play my recordings through the music player and the phone really slows down when the music player is running in the background. I tried the update service option in the settings tab and said that the phone is running the latest software. Please everyone, I would like to know which firmware version has less lags and the best tweaks. This really is irritating because it slows down a lot when listening to music. So please help me to know the most preferred firmware version.
I just cant figure out how to put my music on my phone through media go. i tried the regular drag and drop but it didn't work. I tried using media go but it comes up with an error # 0x8007001f. And when I try to connect my phone it says it cannot be recognized?

I have saved my phone contacts and my proposed ringtone files to the phone memory and set each contact up with their correct ringtone. Also, having set a new default ringtone for general calls, this doesn't seem to want to work either - again the Sony ringtone keeps going off. I have even tried to find the Sony ringtone on the phone and delete it, but without success.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile in playback from playlist, tracks, authors etc phone will display failed and not go onto next song. Using 8gb M2 memory card. Have full formated memory card. Have placed music in root directory or card and in music directory. If you try to play filed song again redisplays failed. However you can forward to next song and it will play. I have tried many combinations and it still fails after each song.

It is a little hard to explain, but other people describe it as being similar to when you shake a CD player while listen to it. All the music I have is MP3 format, 128kbps, but have also tried the music in 192kbps and 320kbps and there is no improvement between the formats.
I have also tried listening to music through both 3.5mm jack and bluetooth headphones (Sony Ericsson HBH-DS205), and strangely enough, there is a difference. The skipping appears no matter what, but is far less noticeable through the 3.5mm jack. I have also tried the music through the default Media Player and through TTPod. I have also tried reinstalling the firmware, reformatting the memory card (16GB by the way) and deleting all music then re-transferring.
My c902 can't play my music continuous even after setting the play mode 2 loop..wat can i do? please help. can even send reply direct 2 my e-mail richmuks@gmail.com

View 1 Replies View Relatedi've added several mp3s to my w205 by using a usb cable and windows file explorer and although I can play them using the w205s file manager, no songs show up in the walkman music player. I have also tried sending songs to the phone by bluetooth and formatting the memory card (1GB M2) but this doesn't work either. Any ideas?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought the Spiro about a week ago and immediately bought a memory card so that I could store my music on there. The phone did not come with a USB cable (which I find a bit cheeky as people are expected to pay for a USB cable AND a memory card if they want to use it for it's Walkman function - no wonder it seemed like a bargain price!) SO I bought a memory card (SD Micro with an a larger 'adaptor' memory card to put it in my laptop) but not a usb cable as I can't afford it. However, I was told that I could put music files onto the card from my laptop, put the card in the phone and access them from there.
Now I have done this, I have ripped the music from a CD, saved as MP3, transferred to the memory card, put the card in the phone, located files on the phone but they won't play!!! It just keeps saying 'playback failed' - whether I play through Walkman or File Manager. I have been looking at the FAQs online but there is nothing that is offering me a solution to this problem. I have also contacted Sony Ericsson Support but have heard nothing back yet. I bought the Spiro for its simplicity but it seems I may have made the wrong choice. So as I see it I have shelled out £50 for a phone and £20 for memory card which I cannot currently use.
I have all my contacts on SIM and my music on SDmicro. Is that considered as backup, I want to try to do an update on my Spiro.

My problem: Some days ago I noticed that there is something with my cable-connection at my W760i. When I hear music with Headphones it sounds very strange. Sometimes the singer is away and I can only hear the Background music or the music is only on one ear. I've tested the cable if the problem is there, but no it is ok. And the charger and the PC-cable are working without faults too. So there must be a Defect at the phone, I think. I want to send my W760i to Sony Ericsson, because I've still warranty, but I can't find any address.

I bought mainly the phone because of the "Threaded SMS" and the Xenon flash. So far i have tested the phone indoor, with the flash, and i'm not really that impressed with the pictures My old C902, is almost as good. So i guess a new camera driver will help? View 14 Replies View RelatedI have just received a new Sony Ericsson Elm. On my K800i, there is a play button on the left side of the phone which is really handy for playing music. But on the Elm getting to the music player is a lot more difficult, even though I create a shortcut to the "media" option, in order to access to the music player.
I will have to scroll down once, select "music", then click on "resume", which is rather inconvenient. I just wondered is it possible to create a one touch shortcut to "Music Player"?
