I've successfully transferred some old ringtones I got from various places but they can not be used on this phone. I was wondering if it is because they are not MEPG4 or maybe some other reason they may not work.

Even though I already turn the volume up to the max, I still cannot hear other people clearly no matter using the receiver on the headset or a headset. I tried to update the phone, but it doesn't help. Can I expect a coming update to solve this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile in playback from playlist, tracks, authors etc phone will display failed and not go onto next song. Using 8gb M2 memory card. Have full formated memory card. Have placed music in root directory or card and in music directory. If you try to play filed song again redisplays failed. However you can forward to next song and it will play. I have tried many combinations and it still fails after each song.

The problem I have is when the phone locks me into GPRS, it becomes a virtual paper weight. It works great if I can get it to lock onto Edge by walking around enough. I want to be able to manually choose Edge. Why can't I do this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to use wma music files as a ringtone, however my phone keeps defaulting to the Sony standard ringtone. I have saved my phone contacts and my proposed ringtone files to the phone memory and set each contact up with their correct ringtone. Also, having set a new default ringtone for general calls, this doesn't seem to want to work either - again the Sony ringtone keeps going off. I have even tried to find the Sony ringtone on the phone and delete it, but without success.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the phone about a week ago , GPS didn't work since i got it . I installed the newest software R1FA035 ,and the result was. When i enter the current status: after around 3 or 5 m. it finds around 3 or 4 satellites and they are located on the top of the screen 2 right and 2 left , they are outside the circle. before updating it could find 1 or 2 max. at same locations , but the new soft finds 4 and faster the old soft was R1FA035 too so it is always searching and never connected. View 7 Replies View RelatedSlight technical problem with my C905 . Having updated the phones firmware to R1FA035, it has developed some connectivity issues. Firstly, when I now connect the USB cable, the mode menu pops up, but then disappears and the phone does not connect in any way. In addition, I cannot turn on USB charging in the service settings, just says 'charging off' every time. Also when I connect the phone using the 'C' button to boot, it just boots into mass storage mode.windows does not even pick up any hardware connected. Tried a number of cables on 3 different computers. I have tried doing a master reset but no luck. I cant update the phones software to try fix the problem, as USB does not connect. I tried phoning SE, but they just told me to send it off for a fee...and no guaranteed results.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA couple of days ago my Satio's GPS receiver doesn't work properly any more. I get no specific error messages, it's just trying to connect tot satellites but doesn't succeed. When trying to connect to pinpoint my position, the response (in Dutch) is something like: GPS has a poor performance when you are inside. Google Maps is trying to connect all the time, SportyPal is trying to initialize the GPS all the time.
No connection with satellites whatsoever. I'm not sure, but maybe there's a connection with installing SportyPal on my phone? I installed that about a week ago. I have the latest software/firmware update installed successfully. I restarted the phone a couple of times, left it outside for half an hour to get connected, nothing works.
I have a Sony Ericsson W995 and i've had it for about a year now. About 2 weeks ago my space button just randomly packed up. And now my "5" button is also starting to play up, when i press the button nothing happens so sometimes i may be pressing it 10-20 times before it works, Anyone else had this problem? When it's downloaded it looks like half the phone screen are the "web" pages and the lower half is a "navigation pad" with a central "select" button. When I go to place a bet via this app, the "select" button is supposed to make the keypad pop up so that amounts can be entered but nothing happens. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Elm phone today. I made a short video, downloaded the SE PC Suit and sync'd my phone to my PC using a USB. I then copied my video to my desktop and played it in Windows Classic Media Player. Now I have pretty much every codec update under the sun so was suprised to find that the video was extremely choppy. The audio worked fine but the video was extremely slow and it was as if I was watching picture slides as opposed to a video! When I tansferred the video to Vegas Pro there was no video at all, just audio. I could see the video slides in the programme but when I clicked play it was just black (with sound).

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince today, it seems my media player is not working. its opening, i can see which all media are there, but the songs are not playing, the videos are too, like stuck. i switched off, removed battery n put it back, no change. i did master reset, no change still. the problem disappears when a call comes(or missed call), it rings. then immediately if i try, media works. once i exit, and retry, its stuck again. same when i change ring tone volume. after i play ring tone, music works, after exit, problem persists.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Aino phone came up with a update today and once it had finished it turned its self off and back on i put all my passwords in and it just turned itself off, now when i turn it on it comes up with the sony ericsson start up, then just flashes a light on and off about every min, its not the battery because i put it in my patners phone and turned his on and works fine, sum one please help optus couldn't and sony ericsson is closed.
