Jul 7, 2010so far I've put threaded SMS onto my phone (and it feels like a brand new phone!), but I know there's all kinds of things that you can do to customize the phone this way. what kind of tweaks have you done with your phone? I'd like some ideas to play around with possibly.also, is there a way to copy files FROM the phone using a2uploader? I would like to read the customize.xml file but it always gives a READ ERROR then I have to unplug the phone and redo the connection and I get nowhere.

In my home, there is several wifi router and wifi homepulp.
When I going from one area to another area of my home.
The first wifi signal is become weak, but there is existing another wifi signal is stronger than first place.
In this case, my iPhone is keep using previous wifi signal.
So, is there a way that automatically switching from weak wifi signal to the stronger one?

Apr 26, 2010My nokia 5800 faces some problems here after upgrading to the new V50 firmware, not sure whether have u all encountered it before.
1. Sometimes when typing SMS, the cursor will keep moving backwards and hang there (sounding tut tut tut... continuously and unstoppable)
2. Sometimes the vibration on touching the screen will suddenly become stronger than normal, like suddenly Zeeek, zek, zek rather than normal zek, zek, zek~
I am not sure whether it is common in V50 firmware or it happens only to my specific phone.

Jun 2, 2011I just came from an Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which means that I'm pretty savvy with android, but several things are different (e.g. orientation, manufacturer's modifications).So, I have a few queries, the most important is about backgrounds.I am a keen photographer, and I was wondering what is the best way to crop a background on photoshop, so that it slides right into the homescreen with no trouble.I am guessing for the background, it would be 800px high, or perhaps less, depending on whether it is overlapped by the status bar or whether it begins underneath. If I wanted a non-moving background I would guess I'd want 480px across, but what about if I want a moving one?

Sep 7, 2011I have a Bulgarian SIM card (with roaming activated) and everything worked fine in Bulgaria. However, I went to Denmark. I switched the airplane mode on in the plane and when I turned that mode offf, I got the message 'emergency calls only', which prevents me from making any calls. I bought a Danish SIM card but I got the same message. I have another phone with me (some old Alcatel) and both SIM cards work pretty fine there.

Here is my issue: I have a Touch Enabled game that works perfectly well on other touch devices (including Samsung SPH-M800/M810), but not on the newer Samsung Touch Devices A867 onwards.I add the JAD attribute: MIDlet-Touch-Support: True and it removes the Virtual D-Pad, but I am left with an 80 pixel high gray bar at the bottom. Jul 19, 2011I've lost the 4 digit user selected security lock code which is required to reset the phone.Virgin says Samsung should help recover the code and Samsung says Virgin should help recover the code.A while back, I found a code on the web that allowed me to go into a service menu which listed among other things the lock code. I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.

May 8, 2010I have a display problem with one of my two phone. When you power on the phone the Samsung logo appear and off after that but the phone boot up OK just don't have any on the screen, I can make call or receive OK. I disassemble both phones and swap the main board and find out that nothing wrong with the LCD Screen but the Main board. The phone have BK03 bin and I loaded with CB23 bin and it working good now.
