View 3 Replies View RelatedI had purchased a NL710 two months ago and it is very different from others, especially s60v5 ( Nokia 5800 xpressmusic ) which i was using previously. The only thing that Gives me a shame is when my friends ask me to capture their images with my Smartphone and SEND IT TO THEM VIA BLUETOOTH. I can't because my SMARTPHONE does not have BTF. They start laughing at me. **bleep**.I don't know that if MS will add it later but i was unable to get any rumours of BTF IN WP8. In Developing Countries Specially mine i.e. India there are daily 4-5 Files transferred with Bluetooth among us. So it's a big pain after paying for getting the full experience out of a NOKIA.I Think Nokia should Add it to their Lumia's by adding it directly to WP or Release a Software for sending files...If Yes then please make a comment on my Topic and if No please let us know why..

View 5 Replies View Relateda couple of questions about transferring mp3 files between my s2 and PC
1. via kies air. How does one upload multiple files? To start with there was a box saying to download a java thing to let me do this, but I accidentally dismissed the box and have no idea what to look for.
2. Via USB: My PC recognises that there is something connected, but I can't see how to get into the folders on the phone, or even see anything to allow me to communicate firther with it.
I have an iPhone 4s and want to transfer spreadsheet .csv files i receive in emails to my total station, which I can already connect to using bluetooth. The issue I have is I cannot send the file from its email as an attachment.
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, Bluetooth file transfer from iPhone
Samsung Galaxy S6
Android 5.0.2
Yosemite 10.10.4
Never had KIES installed, my usb ports work fine, I tested them, my cable works fine. checked the Media Device (MTP) still doesn't work... deleted and re-installed AFT multiple times, i still get the "Could not connect to device. Try reconnecting or restarting your device"
What is the best method to transfer multiple files between a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet and Galaxy S5 phone? I have lots of mp3 files on the tablet's SD card that I would like to transfer to the SD card of the phone.
When I connect both via USB cables to my Windows desktop, selection of source files and destination folder is easy, but some glitch often prevents all of the files from being transferred. I think it may be a timing issue with the connection, SD cards, or problem in cabling. Sometimes, Windows will not recognize both devices.
When I try to use Samsung SmartSwitch or SideSync with USB connected devices, I have a difficult time selecting the source files and target destination folder.
Using NFC doesn't seem to allow me to make the source file or destination folder selection I want. The file selection process seems to be "dumbed-down" based on standard file content type (music, video, pictures, documents, etc) and conventional destination locations in the device file structure rather than on the SD card.
Few days ago I purchased SGS II, and few days later I purchased a Prolink USB Wireless Network Adapter To Create Wi-Fi connection between my pc internet and my mobile. and I am succeed
so, now my phone use my pc internet via wi-fi.
but I notice it only use for internet connection.
what I want, I also want to transfer at least send files to phone via wi-fi connection like Bluetooth does.. because I see wi-fi have enough data transfer speed. so, it is very ridiculous to look out for USB data cable to send/transfer any files from pc to phone.
Does anyone know how to either set up a local adhoc network connection or a Bluetooth conection between a RAZR and a DROIDX to facilitate file transfers between phones? I tried Bluettoth - the devices are paired but will not connect..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just got a new SGS2. I've paired it with a VW Passat from 2011. Everything is working fine except transferring the contact list, only around half of the contacts get transferred -- 125 of 205. I can't find out why some contacts get transferred and others don't. Before I had a Palm Pre 2 and it worked just fine... all contacts would transfer perfectly.
I've unpair the connection several times in the Bluetooth settings, delete the connection in the car and pair again but didn't solve the problem. I've also update some of the key contacts that don't get synced, forced a reload of the contact list in the car menu but nothing works.
When I am trying to transfer my phone contacts to my car, the icon that allows this (the three dots and connecting lines) is not on the phone screen. How do I find/activate the icon?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 5800 XM. I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery. But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files.
Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem. Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.
is there any way of selecting the file type that camera image files and video files are saved as? I know that the SGS2 supports various file formats, but I can't find anywhere that actually lets you select the format type. I've checked through the manual, Googled and searched various forums without luck.
