Mar 10, 2010I just picked up a Unlocked Samsung Star GT-5230 of NewEgg.com for use w/ AT&T. Can anyone please help me w/ the Network Settings? I have searched my butt off.

but, i have a problem. i used the vodafone sim card i have for the maps, and after some help from the store, i hav managed to get them working. they are fantastic.but here lies the problem: if i use my o2 sim, the maps application refuses to connect, stating a connection failure. however, the web browser works fine.are there any particular setting that i need to make to make the maps app connect when i am using the o2 sim?

Oct 9, 2011I got recently Verizon BB Storm 9530 and I unlocked it. I have my unlocked BB Storm 9530. But I am trying to connect to my storm browser it says some error. It says I shuld contact to my service provider or something like that so I cant use network on my storm.I contaced my service provider in Estonia also (Tele2 Estonia) and they said they can't do nothing because they dont have experiences with Blackberry. So I dont know what I should do to use network on my phone?Also my browser is lost in menu.. only in "switch application" mode I can use browser but it doesnt work.

Jan 25, 2012a bold 9700 and it is unlocked but orig from rogers. i am using it on fido and i have called them many times in the past 2 days to fix the problem i am having. i stopped using the phone for a few months as i was using an acer liquid phone. now i am back using the bb bold for various reasons and all i seem to be having is problems. the phone works when i am at work no problem but when i am at home all it does is search for a network. fido has tried adding an imei number to my account settings and we reset the phone from my end. this still has not fixed my service loss i have been getting. what settings should i have on the phone to stop this from happening? one of the reasons i had started to use this phone again was the fact that for some reason i had waken up in the am to look at my acer phone and it had told me that i had no service. so i took out the battery and the sim card and put it back in the phone and still i got no service. i put the sim card in the bb and i got the same thing. so i put the sim card into a non smartphone celly that i got and it worked fine now why would this be?

Mar 5, 2010I want to convert a few video clips to play back on my 5230 at the highest possible quality settings. Which container/bitrate/frame rate/aspect ratio would give those results? I know the resolution of the phone is 640x360 but any clips at that resolution are unable to play. I'm experimenting with combinations at the minute but it would be a lot quicker if I could just get a definite answer.Official playback specs are 640x360/??/30fps/?? but no mention of ideal bitrate, aspect ratio or container, ie MP4/3gp etc etc.
