I was just wondering if the Ace used the same datacable as the rest of the samsung family (I have a cable for my Sph-a900) or if I will need to buy a new one? Also if the data-cable is the same, is the charger the same?
View 3 RepliesI have a samsung SPH-A900 fliphone (later known as the MM-a900) on the Sprint network. Randomly the phone will power itself off (with or without the animation) or will completely reboot. Usually when charging it powers off and when not plugged it it reboots (but sometimes it just powers off when it's being used) Problem seems to be worse at home (7/7 bar reception) than on the road (2-4 bar reception)
I've tried 3 different batteries (2 aftermarked extended and 1 OEM) but it still happens. Phone was master-reset and re-OTA-programmed with no change from either.
It seems to be working. Any reason why I should pay almost as much for a new car charger as I did for the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung Freeform will only go on when the charger is plugged in and then unless I;m pressing buttons and navigating the phone it turns off. It will not stay on with the charger plugged in nor will it charge. The phone was working fine when I took it back from an Ex-girlfriend.I took the battery out to get the ECN # and when I put it back in it wouldn't turn on. I also tried resetting the phone in the Menu > phone settings > security > reset phone but iy didn't make a difference.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe charger port was having problems and wasn't charging, so I changed the charger flex following online instructions. I am 99% sure I did it correctly as it all works now, but the Galaxy S2 won't recognise my ThreeUK Sim anymore. It recognises others such as orange and t-mobile (It's Unlocked with Root). I put the old charger flex cable back in and it's working with my ThreeUK sim but it won't charge again so I want to know, does the charger flex cable change what sim cards it can read etc? I don't want to order cable to fix my phone before I know what to look for in it in case that has the same problems as the one I've ordered.

Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?

I found that I had enabled search for WIFI and also enabled two of the settings for gps. After removing settings and changing display to lower brightness and not using internet it is better now. I took BSNL service in India for my vacation. They have 3g in very few places. I am not sure if the 3g or their SIM card is the culprit.
I want to buy car charger. I found Nokia dc-6 selling for Rs 950($20). Do I need to use only this? I called and found that Samsung one for Rs 250($6). Is it ok to use generic one or other brands?

Anyone else having issues getting the N97 mini to charge from their car, I bought the DC-6 as it's listed as compatible but nothing happens when I plug it in - I've tested this with the engine both running and not turned on. The car socket is working, tested with another device. Also just as an extra design point - it would have been nice for Nokia to put an LED on the charger to let you know when power was getting to the device.

Niether of these Car Chargers work, I have tried mutiple USB Cables with these USB chargers & nothing..... how can they work with my N900 & other devices, but yet my E7 does nothing when I plug them in?
I use the same cable I use hooking it to my computer, and even then.. nothing, but I know both these USB car chargers function fine. Something is wrong with the design of the phone?
I've recently purchased within the last 2 weeks the Blackberry Bold 9780. For some reason I can't get the phone to charge in any Car using the 12v cigarette lighter. I've had no issues with charging it from the Mains and the USB port on a PC. When plugging into the Cigarette lighter, the charger's LED lights up to indicate that there is power being received to the charging unit and after inserting the mini USB connection into the Phone, I get the connection bleep and the clock appears, however after all of this I still get no charging indicator on the battery. Also sometimes when I re-connect the cable I get the below message from the phone:

I've now tried three different car chargers all supported by Blackberry - I've sinced purchased one of the Mini USB Chargers that plug into the Cigarette lighter Mini-USB cables - still the same issue... I've tried charging in other cars - also my wife owns a HTC Wildfire and she's able to charge her phone from the Mini USB charger I have recently purchased.
I've spoken to Orange who don't seem to have heard of any issues like this - I've since asked Orange to replace the phone which I'm hoping to receive within the next 24hrs...

I want a charger that will charger both of my parents phones (Moto Q and a Razr) so that they dont have to carry 2 chargers. All of our phones are usb B and I have lots of data cables but I cannot find a charger that will charge them. I have a Q9c and mine shows unaauthorized charger when plugged into a car driven usb port. In the PC they all charge just fine.Does anyone know of a good charger that will charge these phones??
