I can't seem to download anything to my SGII. I've never been able to download anything via Polaris office. Now that I have my phone rooted I wanted to download a bit torrent client - and I can't do that either. Anything I try comes up as download: failed!!!
My firmware is 2.3.3 - should I be on 2.3.4?
have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.

I see symbols that are not annotated, tablet has to be rotated several times before an Edit Mode button appears, and so far as I can see, no Edit mode button appeared.I got a hard wifi keyboard to edit Pdf files whilst on planes.I see a little binocular like icon that goes inside a text creation text box and that text can be saved somewhere...but I don't know where.Whatever happened to plain-old vanilla wysiwyg document editing? Recently upgraded OS to Ice Cream Sandwhich and noticed a few changes seems all good but when I receive a photo in a SMS I can't save it like I was able to before where you only had to save the attachement. Now I don't have that option under the menu button and therefore I can't foward the message save to PC or anything else I could before.

As the title suggests whenever i download theses .zip files i can download them from this site:http://www.multiupload.com/0LDQ4AT8L9. what i mean is that i see the file and the % bar increases when i download it.But after sometime it would just stop the downloading process and leave me with a file downloaded half way.I use orbit down loader as well firefox to try and download this file but never seems to work.Any1 know if i am using the wrong downloader or have other mirror sites to download from?

Kies tells me I have a firmware upgrade - from the size of download it seems quite major - but it won't install.Initially I found Norton was blocking it and quite proudly telling me so. Word on the street is that there may be a refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming. I wasrReading over at Android and Me and this thread caught my attention:The rumors state that there is going to be a refreshed camera. Possibly along the way of 8.0MP. On top of that, the processors are scheduled to be refreshed using The faster SGX544 GPU is included with Texas Instruments upcoming OMAP4470 processor. This is the successor to the original OMAP4460 found in the Galaxy Nexus, that includes the older SGX540 GPU.With the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus coming soon we'll have to wait and see if they are in fact getting a refreshed model or the LTE based model that Verizon has currently, Either way, I hope they do launch a refresh on the HSPA+ line as well. I use the Galaxy Nexus and while I love the phone, I wish the camera was better. Faster is always better as well so I'll take the processor bump.
