I've been trying to setup my email account on it again but don't seem to be having any joy. My address is through Utility Warehouse (xxxxx@uwclub.net)- so I typed that and the password in at the first setup screen. The next screen asked to select between pop3 and IMAP, which I chose pop3. I then set the incoming server to pop3.uwclub.net and the outgoing to smtp.uwclub.net- I am positive these are the settings I've used before. However after saying Processing for a long time I get a timeout message. I've tried with and without SSL and I still can't get my emails to work!
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.

just bought this samsung galaxy s2 and i am lost already. i have a samsung genio mobile that i wish to transfer all my calendar events over to the new s2 mobile 203 of them. dont want to start typing them into the new phone one by one lol. my old genio was backed up using the pc studio software but iam told this will not work with the s2. i joined a google account tonight to see if i can transfer the calendars from genio to google then to s2 but couldnt work it out. i am a complete novice when it comes to any thing like this . also if you can take me through the stages of transfering all my events to my new phone

Maybe I looked the wrong places but it occurs to me I can either have sync on or not--and if I want to sync manually, I have to got to Settings->Accounts & Sync->Choose Account->Sync--that's a bit cumbersome.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have been using the samsung calendar for a while now, and HAD a default set up with my desktop Google calendar for 3 different reminders on each so I dont forget,oversleep etc. anyhow It seems that when Google calendar STOPPED sending SMS messages earlier idk this month or last month I have NOT been able to set up more than ONE reminder even from a appt set from my phone, after the first reminder is set the green plus sing is no longer there to add more. I CAN go into older appt's and edit and the multiple reminders are still there and the green plus to add more is there and selectible. I am assuming it has something to do with the google calendar so what is up?
