View 6 Replies View RelatedI just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an 8900 that I wire sync to Outlook 2003 on my PC. Have calendar dates back to 2000. It will sync but alwasy wants to delete things in 2000 and now 2001. So I have to fish them out of the deleted items in Outlook and put them back. Memory seems to be fine on the BB and settings are "forever" and "two way sync."

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC One. I have Facebook sync for Events and Contacts set up on my phone. I noticed something peculiar today: my Facebook friends' birthdays are syncing on my phone, but my Facebook events are not. I don't know if this is a recent problem or if it's always been there (never really paid attention). I removed my FB account on my phone, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, added my account again, set up the sync and I was still having the issue. I've tried searching extensively on this forum and throughout the web, but no luck so far.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIn order to save energy, I told my S2 not to sync mails automatically. That works fine, I can just hit the "update" button. But is there a similar way to sync the calendar (or contacts)?
Maybe I looked the wrong places but it occurs to me I can either have sync on or not--and if I want to sync manually, I have to got to Settings->Accounts & Sync->Choose Account->Sync--that's a bit cumbersome.
I often use the Samsung calendar on my S5. But, for some reason when I open the Samsung calendar on my Note 10.1 tablet to view the entries I did thru my S5, nothing appears!!! I try hitting the sync button every time I enter something on my S5 calendar, assuming my tablet calendar will get updated too, but nope! I have no problems with the goggle calendar, but with the Samsung calendar I do. How can I view on my tablet Samsung calendar what I enter on my S5 calendar?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to figure out why my calendar events in my iPad and MacBook don't accurately reflect what I put in my iPhone. I can see some of the events, but not all. I have iCloud sync activated in both devices, and on my MacBook. I primarily add and view events on my iPhone, but would like the changes to be reflected across all devices.

Just upgraded computer to a new 13-inch MBP. Business is moving over to outlook for mail & calendar services. Previously, I synched my iCalendar between my iphone and computer. Now, however, when I put new events into Outlook 2011's calendar, they will not sync up with my iPhone's calendar. I have done everything in iTunes that I can think of, including resetting my calendars in my phone. No luck.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not able to sync the calendar on my iPhone 5s to ical on my mac running OS 10.7.5. Things I've entered on the iPhone calendar won't transfer over to ical, but syncing does seem to work the other way. I've tried some of the fixes suggested (deleting the sync file using Terminal, toggling on and off the different calendar options, etc) but nothing seems to fix it.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI receive many invites from co-workers who use Outlook / Exchange to create appointments. I receive the appointment, accept and add it to iCal on my MacBook Pro (10.7.3) just fine. I sync my calendars to my iPhone and iPad via iCloud.I can open the appointment and view it on the MacBook and via the web-iCloud interface, but if I try to view it on my iPhone or iPad, the Cal app will crash immediately. It happens with 100% of the accepted invites on both iOS devices. I've rebooted the devices to no avail. Any alarms associated with the appointment work on the iOS devices, but I just can't view the appointment. Manually created appointments have no problems.

If you enter a calendar event in the Thunderbolt and identify its duration as "All Day" and also indicate that it reoccurs every year on the same day, when you sync with Outlook the event will span two days in Outlook - the date selected AND the prior day.
In my situation my "Date & Time" Time Zone setting is set for "GMT -04:00, Eastern Daylight Time." But when I view the event in Outlook after a sync, Recurrence shows the following information as an example: Occurs every February 21 effective 2/21/2011 (GMT) Monrovia, Reykjavik.
I think this indicates that something is causing the data to be entered into Outlook under a different time zone and showing it as an "overlap" in my time zone.
If I enter an event as "All Day" but don't have it recur, the sync works just fine.
For some reason, I'm currently unable to sync my facebook events to my phone calendar. In the Settings>Accounts, my facebook account is listed. When i tap on my account and enter my username/password, I'm brought back to the list of accounts, and I can't sync either my contacts or my calendar with my phone.
I used to be able to do this on my Galaxy S and could do it for a minute on the Razr. Does anyone know what happened, and if I can re-establish the sync? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook, but it didn't do anything.
I am new to Blackberry desktop manager for mac. It is all set up and first sync is done without a problem. Now when I try to sync, I get a message that over 600 of my past calendar items will be deleted if I continue with sync. I need to keep previous calendar items, is there a way to solve this problem and not delete past events? I am sorry for asking this question, I am just new and very unsure of what I am doing. I had used missing sync before, but when my blackberry had to be replaced, new blackberry wouldn't work so I wanted to try desktop manager.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a DroidX version 2.2.1 and I use Corporate email. When I type in a new Calendar event into the phone it sync's to Google fine but it does not sync to my Corp Calendar. The same happens for Contacts. Here's what I've found:
1) Phone to Google works
2) Phone to Corp does not work
3) Corp to Phone works
4) Corp to Google does not work
When I first setup the phone, I setup Corp email and Gmail and the sync worked well. Some time later I removed my Corp email account from the phone only to re-add it a couple weeks later. Since then, the sync does not work the way it once did. I have set the phone so that my Corp account is the default account. I receive email on the phone with no issues. I want my Corp Calendar/Contacts to match my phone no matter whether I enter them from the phone, Google or my Corp Desktop.
My quite new (3 weeks) S6 did a factory data reset on its own. It happened while I was driving for 2hrs on a highway, with the phone resting on the empty passenger seat, not touching the phone. Lost all data, all apps, all pics. Very frustrating. After 3 days of research (visiting Verizon store, calling Verizon, calling Samsung, internet research), the possible cause may the following:
About 2-3 hours before driving, the phone did a scheduled automatic update, which took more than 30 min to complete. This all happened in a signal-weak area. Tech support said, although the update completed, it may have had some flaws, and when the phone detects that, it may resort to a factory data reset to avoid greater functionality problems.
Unfortunately, the end result included functionality problems, most notably that the phone calendar only synched partially (!!) with my desktop Outlook calendar, and promptly I missed two important appointments.
When a scheduled update comes your way, make sure you backup all contacts, photos, data etc, before allowing an update to perform.
I use the GOOD app for work and I'd like to have my work calendar to integrate with my personal calendar. How can I make this happen, if possible?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S5. It seems the newest update cleared all the saved appointments on my calendar and when I try to readd them it says they're saved but they are not. I don't know which calendar this is. It is the one that came as a default in the apps section of my phone. Do I have to sync it with a Samsung account or is it a Google calendar. I only want to save to my phone not have a million accounts everywhere.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to see the actual events on each day of the month but now I only see a green dot indicating there is an event. You have to click on that day to see what the event is. It was much better before when you could see at a glance your schedule for the whole month and not have to look at one day at a time. This change happened yesterday after having the phone for one week. My phone syncs with my google calendar on my computer.
