I've just moved to an S2 from a Samsung i8910 HD. On that phone the next events in the calendar would appear written on the home screen. It was a very useful prompt of what was happening next.Is it possible to get a similar display on the S2's home screen?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, my calendar syncing is... . Acalander shows everything just fine. Either in the widget or app. But the stock calendar app doesn't show all of my events. Some show up, but others(most) don't. I installed silence app to have my phone silent during repeating events, and they don't show up there either. I tried turning off sync on my Google account, and back on, but it didn't change anything.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a subscribed calendar in iCal on my desktop that shows up in the list of iCloud calendars on my iPhone, but none of the events actually show up on my iPhone even though that calendar is selected to show its events. How can I fix this? It's really strange that my phone "sees" the calendar, but won't show the events that are in it! Very frustrating! I've already tried unsyncing and resyncing all of the calendars on my iPhone (i.e. I turned off iCloud calendar syncing, deleted all calendar info on my iPhone, then turned iCloud calendar syncing back on). No luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe just switched to MS Exchange Online and when we create a calendar meeting or appt in MS Outlook it shows up on the iphones and ipads as a day later, also shows up as an all-day event. We have 5 iPhones 4 and 4s in the office on both AT&T and Verizon and all have the same issues.

It seems the newest update cleared all the saved appointments on my calendar and when I try to readd them it says they're saved but they are not. I don't know which calendar this is. View 5 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to see the actual events on each day of the month but now I only see a green dot indicating there is an event. You have to click on that day to see what the event is. It was much better before when you could see at a glance your schedule for the whole month and not have to look at one day at a time. This change happened yesterday after having the phone for one week. My phone syncs with my google calendar on my computer.
View 10 Replies View RelatedA new problem has developed with my phone. It's hard to describe but it looks as if there is fluid under the screen (I don't have a screen protector btw). You can push the bubble of fluid (if that's what it is) around with your finger and see it move under the screen. Most unsettling. I'm at a complete loss to know what to do. MY PHONE AT NO TIME HAS GOT WET OR EVEN SPLASHED - I'VE KEPT IT COMPLETELY DRY. I HAVEN'T EVEN HANDLED IT WITH WET HANDS.
The problem is only visible on the home screen and it's not affecting the functionality of the phone in any way. However, it's a bad problem because now I've lost all security on my phone - it doesn't ask for a fingerprint swipe any more so anyone can immediately gain access to my phone merely by touching the bubble.
Interestingly, the problem disappears completely if I run the Samsung Galaxy S6 4G in Safe Mode.
Regularly when using the camera, it crashes and goes back to the home screen. Is this normal?
