IPhone :: Get Subscribed Calendar Events To Show On My 4?
May 4, 2012
I have a subscribed calendar in iCal on my desktop that shows up in the list of iCloud calendars on my iPhone, but none of the events actually show up on my iPhone even though that calendar is selected to show its events. How can I fix this? It's really strange that my phone "sees" the calendar, but won't show the events that are in it! Very frustrating! I've already tried unsyncing and resyncing all of the calendars on my iPhone (i.e. I turned off iCloud calendar syncing, deleted all calendar info on my iPhone, then turned iCloud calendar syncing back on). No luck.
We just switched to MS Exchange Online and when we create a calendar meeting or appt in MS Outlook it shows up on the iphones and ipads as a day later, also shows up as an all-day event. We have 5 iPhones 4 and 4s in the office on both AT&T and Verizon and all have the same issues.
For some reason, my calendar syncing is... . Acalander shows everything just fine. Either in the widget or app. But the stock calendar app doesn't show all of my events. Some show up, but others(most) don't. I installed silence app to have my phone silent during repeating events, and they don't show up there either. I tried turning off sync on my Google account, and back on, but it didn't change anything.
I just got my new Bold but couldn't figure out why certain birthdays on my contacts show up in the calendar as recurring events while others don't. Is there a way to fix that?
The first was notifications and I have been given to understand that the folks at Nokia are working on it.the second issue is the calendar. In the settings I have asked it to show Facebook and google calendar events. However, the calendar refuses to sync and show events. It's squeaky clean how do I get the calendar to show Facebook events and birthdays?
I've just moved to an S2 from a Samsung i8910 HD. On that phone the next events in the calendar would appear written on the home screen. It was a very useful prompt of what was happening next.Is it possible to get a similar display on the S2's home screen?
I just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.
I recently subscribed to a calendar directly from my iPhone. I thought this would get pushed to my other devices but it doesn't.
As it only showns on the iPhone, I would like to delete it now. However this seems impossible to do. I can uncheck it but can't actually fully remove it.
I don't think toggling with the iCloud switch on/off will help as it's not on the iCloud server but just on the iPhone.
Its an iphone 4s and a mac book with snow lepard.I am putting all the events on my calandar through my iphone but they don't appear in ical when I sync via itunes.
My Galaxy S5 is set up to synchronize with my Microsoft exchange server. Emails synchronize perfectly and calendar events entered on my Microsoft exchange account synchronize with my Galaxy S5. The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
I have an iPhone 3GS and sync it with Mac mini, OS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion).Â
If I enter an event repeating weekly in Calendar on the Mac and sync, it appears on the phone. If I then make a change in the wording of the event on the Mac, set it to apply to all future events and sync again, only the modified version appears on the Mac, but both versions appear on the phone. The modified version can be edited (and therefore, if necessary, deleted), but on the phone the out-of-date original version has no Edit button and cannot be removed from the phone.Â
I tried syncing with the Advanced/'Replace information on this iPhone' setting, but this did not remove the unwanted original version.Â
I bought my iPhone yesterday and am struggling TI want to add events on the calendar.Touch on the calendar and today is displayed with a red line and dot at the time of day, but that is about far as it will let me go.In the user manual on line it says to touch anywhere on the screen to add an event!!! ....
My calendar app (Tuesday 1 Calendar) does not allow me to add events. There is not a (Calendars or +) at the top of the application. Previous iPhones I have had had this feature.
I set up my GMail account on my phone as an Exchange account so that it can sync contacts and calendars as well as mail. When I first set it up, I had the option of deleting the existing calendar events and syncing, or leaving my existing calendar. I did the latter, but now I have a separate GMail calendar on my phone with no events. I need to get my iPhone calendar events over to Gmail. Any quick way of doing so?
I'm about to restore this phone (3GS) to 4.0.1 and JB, and I have no other calendar application on my computer to sync with, which is why I need to get everything to the Gmail calendar.
I can't manage to add any events into my calendar . I've checked with the manual and noticed I don't have a + showing in the corner. Also tapping a date or time slot does nothing. Is there some setting I've overlooked?
I just lost all my calendar events on iphone. I didnt uptade anything. I didnt connect my iphone to anything. I just opened a calendar, and all of my events were gone. Is there any way to get them back?
I create a calendar event on my iphone and within seconds it just disappears from the phone. I have icloud enabled on my phone so i suppose that may have an impact. It has worked previously, but recently all my events have disappeared.
I have an I Phone 4s and have never been able to add events to the calendar. The phone has NO plus sign. Syncing with I Cloud does not help. The only thing I can do on my calendar is see the dates.
In the past week, I have had someone else's calendar events begin appearing on my iPhone's calendar. (We will call this phone "IPHONE #1".) While I got this iPhone used, the person I bought it from does not recognize any of these events, and so it isn't a sync from their calendar.
Here's where I am thinking this may have came from, and I want to fix it ASAP. I had another iPhone that I recently sold to a friend. (IPHONE #2) I had it previously synched with my itunes Apple ID, but before I sold it to him, I thought I did a security wipe. The strange entries on my calendar include names of my friend's family members, but some of the info he is posting is embarrassing and I would rather NOT tell him I have seen any of his private notes. I want to stop this without him knowing I have seen anything thus far.
