I prefer the luxury of surfing for apps on my laptop and if I find something I like, download it and then put it on my phone.can I download to my computer and then install on my S2? if so how?that is a two part how question. How to download to computer and then, how to upload to S2?

Just updated via Samsung Apps the camera firmware to a CDE11 or something version. Took 4 minutes to update and flash this firmware. I wonder what exactly it changed in the camera firmware? Hopefully improved things or bug fixes.I will test a few videos and see if the bitrate has changed or not.
View 8 Replies View Relatedi updated my SGS 2 in software update for the first time a few days ago (never done that since i got it in end of may). It looked like it worked at first, it rebooted it self after a successful update. But when i was about to reboot it my self after a few hours it went hi-wire. I couldn't boot it and the screen was switching between the loading battery (but i wasn't charging it) and a empty battery with a warning sign between it every 3 sec. But after a while i got it working by repeatedly press the start button and putting the charge cable in it.so when i was now going to update it for the new 2.3.4 through Kies i tried for the first time to connect my phone with the usb-cable, but I'll never got the computer to recognize my phone. It won't show up with USB mass storage enable/disable, USB debugging unchecked/checked. I have tried reinstalling Kies and the Samsung USB driver, cleaning with CCleaner, cleaning the regedit for samsung files, but without luck.

i've galaxy s2 baught it a week ago, it's my first time connecting it to my pc via micro usb. i see the storage drive in the computer opens up i can explore copy & paste, the handset charges normaly, but the touch screen stops responding. everything just freezes, just for once internet explorer opened after a long time which seems like a late response of my pressing on touchscreen however the menu and back button work well but can't press or click on anything.. i know this isn't normal.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have installed Kies 3 twice but still get the same problem. The back up from my Galaxy S5 appears to go well until I look into the folders created on my computer in Kies. It has backed up some things but most folders either have nothing in them or have file types that I can't open on my computer, which I guess are Samsung files. Surely if I have downloaded Kies specifically to back everything on the phone up, the software will have the ability to open these file types?

I've uninstalled KIES along with the drivers and installed them back again to no avail. Is it possible to flash the phone with a working Android version without using the computer - through the SD card?

As the title suggests whenever i download theses .zip files i can download them from this site:http://www.multiupload.com/0LDQ4AT8L9. what i mean is that i see the file and the % bar increases when i download it.But after sometime it would just stop the downloading process and leave me with a file downloaded half way.I use orbit down loader as well firefox to try and download this file but never seems to work.Any1 know if i am using the wrong downloader or have other mirror sites to download from?

I've noticed that when i use mobile data connection instead of wifi, it downloads just fine. The problem is, I can't download 1gb with mobile data because it's too expensive.
