Samsung Galaxy S II :: Onlive Universal Controller?

May 5, 2012

I stupidly thought that the ICS upgrade would get this bluetooth controller to work with the Onlive app on my SGSII. Whilst it pairs and does control the phone, it seems to be random movements as all sorts of random mayhem begins as soon as you press any of the buttons. I'm going to investigate this a little more but has anyone else tried this? I have an HDMI output and the idea of my little phone being a portable games console capable of playing games ike Arkham City is too much for the technophile in me, especially as I travel a lot.

Galaxy S5 :: Not Allow To Move Any Stuff Onto SD Card

Dec 15, 2015

I just purchased a 32G SD card for my Galaxy S5. I installed the SD card and have been trying to move apps and pictures to the card, but when I try I get a notification saying there is insufficient space on the card. When I go into the settings and check the storage, the device storage is maxed at 16G, but the SD card shows 29G of available space. Also when I first put in the SD card, my camera automatically saved new pictures to the card but now they are all missing from my phone (there were only about 10 pictures) and I am worried they were somehow deleted from the SD card.

Galaxy S6 :: Using NFC With USC Card Reader

Jun 21, 2015

We have card readers connected to our copiers at work linked to Active Directory. So my ID card is registered to the software and tied to my AD account. Friday by mistake I touched my phone on the photocopiers card reader and it said the card wasnt registered. I input my Active Directory details and registered my phone to the software.

Thing is that when I went to log back into the copier with my phones NFC it said that the card wasnt registered. I registered again and tried to log in again but it said again that the NFC wasnt registered.

I logged into the photocopier management software and see that my ID card is there and 2 other entries that seem to be linked to my phones NFC. Is it normal that NFC changes its ID every time or can I set it to be one ID only.

So got s5 yesterday v excited until i realise has only 16gb storage and we require sd card! Does s5 automatically use sd card or do i have to manually move stuff over? It appears there is alot that wont save to sd card but hoping photos, video etc can be stored there.

Motorola Droid X2 :: Unable To Connect To Twitter (Universal Inbox)?

Jun 30, 2011

When I press refresh from my Universal Inbox or from Twitter under Messages, I get an orange triangle with a message that states Unable to connect to Twitter. I can log in at twitter.com on my PC and the Seesmic app loads the tweets just fine. I tried deleting my account and reading it; even tried clearing caches as well as powering phone off & on - nothing has worked.

Motorola Atrix 4G :: Universal Inbox - Cannot Connect To Twitter / Failed Connection

Jul 8, 2011

I have the Bell Mobility Atrix. For the most part it works fine. However, lately, this is what's going on. First I should mention that I have the Android Twitter app (from Twitter) installed on the phone and I can log in to Twitter, send/receive messages just fine with that. If, however, I go to Accounts > Add Account, then select Twitter in the Motoblur section (where all the other social media icons also appear), enter my credentials, I get a message stating Success!, Then, if I go to Messaging from the Home Screen, I see the Twitter icon, however it has a yellow exclamation point through it, and the message "Failed Connection".

So I cannot see/read/send messages to/from my Twitter inbox using the Universal Inbox (again, Twitter works just fine through the regular Android Twitter app). I have done all the normal troubleshooting, i.e. removed battery & SIM card, replaced them. Uninstalled and removed my accounts, rebooted phone. Reinstalled app and also re-added my Motoblur Twitter account, and each time it says "Failed Connection". I don't see online where I can configure my Universal Inbox accounts, only on the phone.

Nokia :: N85 Copying Texts To Memory Card More Than Once?

Apr 28, 2010

I have an N85, which I love by the way, and the other day found a way to copy all my texts from the phone memory to my memory card. This was great as I could save my important messages and keep the phone memory free. I wanted to repeat this procedure, but can't find a way to do it.

The way I did it at first was go to Messaging/Options/Settings/Other/Memory in Use and select "memory card" rather than "Nokia". Upon exiting it asked it I wanted to copy my existing messages to the memory card, so which I replied yes.

Now it doesn't ask anymore, so my question is, does anyone know if this is a one shot deal, or is there a way these messages can be copied?

BB Bold :: Copying Data From 9900 With No SIM Card?

Oct 21, 2012

I got a replacement Bold 9900 when my previous one developed hardware issues. I transferred the SIM card to the new phone which is now operational. I also did a backup restore which retrieved my Contacts, WiFi and other data but not pictures and files. So, I tried to connect to my old device with a USB cable; this prompts me to sign-in which does not work I think because the SIM card is not there(?)

Is it possible that I connect to my old phone as a USB device when it does not have a SIM card?

LG V10 :: Cannot Save Or Pull Any Stuff To / From SD Card

Jan 9, 2016

So I'm only posting here because I have the V10 but I'm pretty sure the SD card is the issue. All of a sudden I can't save anything to my SD card or pull anything off. Try to take a pick it says failed to write file but if I switch storage to phone it'll take the pic. Tried to move stuff from SD to internal and it just cancels. I can still see my files that are on the SD card such as pictures and music and pulling that stuff up works fine. Also have 20 gigs available on the 32 gig SD card and like 28 available on the phone.

IPhone :: Getting A SD Card Reader For 4S?

Jun 30, 2012

If the iPads can use a micro sd card reader then why can't the iPhone 4S use it? My wife has a PPC G4 PB that has her music that we have for our regular iPod nano we use. Now that we both got the 4S she of course wanted to put her music on to the new phone and get the pics off of her old cell and put them onto her new 4S. The one work around I found to do for the pics was drop box. It's a pain in the rear but it works. Just doesn't work for music. So since iTunes 4.2 and Mac OS 10.4 don't work for the 4S I've been thinking of biting the bullet and just buy a new Mac for my wife. Then I saw the camera kits. Some say 4S OK. But the kit has to be first connected to an iPad then have a usb cable connected to the 4S in order to swap pics. Why can't the kit just hook up to the 4S and then swap the pics to the sd card? Why does it need the iPad for it to do it? If Apple would had allowed 10.6 to use iCloud I could have used my MPB to upload the iTunes library of hers and then have her log in to her account on the 4S.
